Freedom of Information Act. It's meant to promote governmental transparency by allowing citizens to request certain documents/records. In this case I'm talking about using it to request procedural documents from USCIS, perhaps internal emails, things of that nature. FOIA in general is explained here: http://www.foia.gov/ and USCIS' FOIA page is here: http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/freedom-information-and-privacy-act-foia/uscis-freedom-information-act-and-privacy-act

Thats interesting....

However from what i am thinking we should all be transferred over the next 3-4 weeks, i guess its just about where we get sent now, not really when...

No mo transfahs

sad.png ???

It will be slow, its all being dealt with by someone's statistics package. They are playing the game, we will be transferred when they need to 'add a few recent cases' to reduce times... thats why you don't see them in mass, July covered that, its only topping up day by day now to keep the maths

Our receipt number is MSC1391631xxx if anyone is curious. PD is Aug 6 as mentioned.

Also thought I'd add that we applied for K3 very recently, I guess they received it Jan 27, and receipt number is MSC1490504xxx.

I don't know what you guys can make of that :) but thought I'd share anyway.

Also we applied from Australia, as in USC and beneficiary's home and mailing addresses are overseas addresses. USC was working/residing in Australia at the time of application.

We thought that applications from overseas took a slightly different path and were often processed quicker, but that thought was merrily flushed down the toilet.

Not toooo bothered though, I don't feel like there's much we can do other than have our fingers, toes and eyeballs crossed. It'll happen when it happens.

And like I said before, all is well that ends well! This time next year we'll all be reunited for sure! Yay!
