You know what else I noticed ? Instead of doing several batches in one day - they are now doing one or two batches per day.

3/14/14: JUST seen the email because I wasn't expecting it so soon. Paid AOS FEE & filed ds 261

3/21/14: AOS paid, cover sheet printed

4/28/14: AOS sent

4/28/14: IV paid

5/5/14: IV submitted

in the process of sending civil docs for IV package...thennnnnn...dun dun...NOOOO checklist i hope! lol

My transfer notice hard copy said, "contact customer service if you didn't get notice or action for 60days".

so it doesn't necessary mean it WILL take 60days, right?

(This is not the exact wording on the letter because I don't have my hard copy with me right now....)

Where were you transferred to? Some (TSC/NSC) take the full 60 days, if not a bit more. CSC can be a lot less.

It depends mate.

If its CSC, there are a few cases that are taking over 40 days - but mostly much less than that

TSC RECENTLY is doing 25 day approvals.

NSC is the worst. 60 days+ is a given.

Why only transfer a low volume of petitions ??

No idea. If they get to more 8/5 or 8/6 we will know a little better but our sample size for august is pretty small vs the 42+K they received. I think the processing will be faster if these service centers are truly into May because volume has dropped from June onwards. More transfers please!

Do you still think we will be on a 9 month wait time?

I was hoping for a late January transfer and getting approved by Late march so that is out the door, maybe mid april. I am still hopeful it will be under 9 months8-8.5months? Your guess is as good as mine but through May the number of applications each month were 55ishK and from June they dropped about 15ishK meaning we gain a month just taking into consideration the numbers. Does it happen? we will find out!
