Aug 2013 I-130 filers

I have added you to the transfer sheet for august.

When you transfer (which will be soon), you will receive three emails and three texts.

A couple of days after the third email - you will receive a letter indicating where the petition was transferred to for processing/adjudication.

Once its transferred (California, Texas or Nebraska), you can post on here and let us know

Once transferred it may take anywhere between 6-60 days to get an approval.

Then it goes to the NVC

When they say 60 days, do they mean 60 business days, or 60 actual days from the date of the transfer? The approval in 60 days is guaranteed, give or take a few days?

Presumably different workers will grab different batches of petitions and enter them into the system at different rates. Remember these numbers aren't just for stand-alone I-130s and not all cases are equal.

Agreed BOS...But my question is once a person has entered MSC1391644000 inside the system on Aug 07. How can a person coming after him enter MSC1391643000 on Aug 08???

This is typical eg where difference is only 1000 cases. I can show cases upto 30000 differences also

It's not guaranteed at all. Check out what Nebraska said to a MARCH filer inquiring about her transfer, which happened at the beginning of November: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/454000-i-130-march-2013-filers-nbc/page-297#entry6771979

I've also seen members report that the service centers are starting to give a "60 to 90 days" time frame. But basically, those supplemental notices are being disregarded by USCIS, just like every other promise they've made.

It doesnt matter what the labels are.

The labels are not assigned in the order of the priority date.

And.

Its not clear whether they are processing consecutive priority dates or simply consecutive labels.

We dont get it either.

We make educated best guesses.

Wow, just wow. That removed any hope I had left for an approval before June. I'm a September filer.

It's regular/calendar days. I wouldn't say June isn't out of reach for you yet. It's just too hard to predict what'll happen next week, never mind four months from now, so there's a lot of waiting and watching ahead. It's not as though we've been able to trust anything USCIS has said before, so I doubt this 5 month thing is accurate. It's just good to know they won't necessarily let you hold them to that 60 day time frame.

So...just talked to tier 2. They gave me ####### for info. Said they have my cases. That the 129f & 130 would prob run together. And all this is due to the back log. And when I spoke of everyone else transferring they told me that meant nothing because not all will be transferred. That a lot of 130s will continue to be filed at nbc. They did however let me try for an expedite since my pregnancy is high risk. Any advice on how to go about this expedite in a better fashion??
