So I heard something down the rumor mill does anyone think it could be true ??

One of my friends told me that her friends husbands case took 9 months and he was approved for spousal visa without trip to embassy for interview. This was Canada supposedly.

Thoughts? ... And go!

sorry i am having a bad day, perhaps my post wasnt so nice. i should first ask if they were in the US first.

they probably adjusted status from canada. providing there are no negative factors, and the intent is overcome because they are immediate relative of a US citizen, there is nothing illegal about it...

canadians visit the US everyday, and also it is not the same since most other coutries who dont share a border with the US are required to obtain a visa to visit, there are countries who are on VWP and if you read the rules granted the intent is there, there are no negative factors and they are married to a USC, if they get a stamp at the border, they can adjust.

anyone who wants to say otherwise can read the litreture and look up case law...

I-129f RECEIVED: 8/21/13

I-130 & I-129f: TRANSFERRED TO CSC 2/7/14

I-130 & I-129f: APPROVED 2/20/14

NVC:

3/4/14: NVC Case Received

3/7/14: Email that case number and IIN assigned, DS 261 and AOS fee available to pay

3/14/14: JUST seen the email because I wasn't expecting it so soon. Paid AOS FEE & filed ds 261

3/21/14: AOS paid, cover sheet printed

4/28/14: AOS sent

4/28/14: IV paid

5/5/14: IV submitted

in the process of sending civil docs for IV package...thennnnnn...dun dun...NOOOO checklist i hope! lol

August 22nd 2013: NOA 1


February 18th : Transferred to California


February 26th : NOA 2


March 3rd : NOA 2 Hard Copy



NVC


March 7th 2014: Case received by NVC


April 4th 2014: NVC Case# and IN #Received


xxxx: AOS Bill Invoiced & Paid


xxxx: AOS Bill showing paid


xxxx: AOS Packet sent (electronic)

So how many August filers got transfered today?

Im truly not sure. I was putting in numbers before and after mine and they were ALLLLL saying January 22....it was crazy..just kept going...seemed like a pretty good amount

USCIS:

I-130 RECEIVED: 8/2/13

I-129f RECEIVED: 8/21/13

I-130 & I-129f: TRANSFERRED TO CSC 2/7/14

I-130 & I-129f: APPROVED 2/20/14

NVC:

3/4/14: NVC Case Received

3/7/14: Email that case number and IIN assigned, DS 261 and AOS fee available to pay

3/14/14: JUST seen the email because I wasn't expecting it so soon. Paid AOS FEE & filed ds 261

Today they transferred Aug 1st and 2nd . All way up to MSC13916126XX..

1) Make a service request for I-130 and k3 both separately.

2) call congressman and senator ( not email). tell them to call USCIS.

3) make a info pass appointment.

4) email USCIS..

May be doing all this it will help you. Someone will touch your case soon.

1) Call 1 800-375-5283 and tell tier 1 that you want to talk with tier 2. Than don't hold phone for 300 mins lol.. Enter your number and name. They will 101% call you back within 2 hours. Make a service request for k3 first and give your email and get conformation number. ( explain them everything )

After 3 hours call back again and make request for I-130.

AHHH ok...and lol...yes..didn't exactly work out holding for even an hour lol

May I ask why you suggest the request for the k3 first? just curious
