If its not CSC, we assume you probably will wait for 60 + days.

Not two months - two months and some more.

That has been the experience for everyone else.

oops8rh.gif Sorry - I guess I didn't make myself clear. I'm planning on writing to my senator/congressman if I don't get transferred by my 6-month mark. I know that there's a significant amount of time between that transfer and approval, so my expectations are certainly not for a 4-week approval.

Our journey started long before the NOA1 - read about it here.

They may not transfer right at the 6 month mark.

They may transfer you at around 7 months or more.

Some people are delayed later than that.

Most congressional representatives may or may not intervene and may give you a stock answer.

Just letting you know what to expect.

Thanks for that. Do you happen to know what documents they will want copies of? I seem to remember the NOA1, IDs for both being some of them.

When I contacted my senator and congressman, all that was required in terms of documentation was a release form to give them permission to make inquiries on my behalf. Their forms were available on their websites and asked for basic info: my name, the agency being dealt with, case number, that sort of thing.

For me they asked to fill out a visa inquiry form than asked for a copy of my photo id and the noa1

Thanks for that. Do you happen to know what documents they will want copies of? I seem to remember the NOA1, IDs for both being some of them.

I am afraid..

you might be...

right

At this point, I would just be glad to see July transfer closed AND all of july filers transferred.

I get more pissed about sasuhol and stvmjames not getting transferred, than I am happy about the rest moving faster than expected.

Between when July filers that were transferred and now, they have ignored at least 200 expected transfers

Exactly, i am just not sure what they are doing? It can only be that they are taking batches to reduce the "average time" for processing. Which is just plain wrong! I cant understand why else they would do this!

Question, when i called to change my spouses address from the US to the UK a tier 2 told me they could not do this as it is a foreign address. However how can this be right, we both live in the UK and didn't put our UK address as we were in transit from Hong Kong and didn't have it sorted, so i used my parents and she used hr parents in the US.

Form what i hear its better if we both live outside of the US, so why cant they change her address. They tell me it is only "revenant" or "applicable" at the NVC stage... How can this be true?

That's bit weird. We've used our UK address as the primary one. I think they did ask for my last US-based address, but not as the one that they advise to change if you move. :-/

Yes, both in the UK. Not sure why not - we're using lawyers based in California and they've handled it all for us.

DCF in London takes around 1 month for i130 approval, and NO NVC!
