GGGGGGGGrrrrrrr......just got off the phone with Alisha @ USCIS. Every time I would ask a question she would give me the same apology and response. I finally become so frustrated I told her that I knew she was saying what she had been instructed to say but that I was well aware that my I-130 was not being processed or reviewed. I said to her that I believe my petition was sitting in the NBC untouched with the rest of the I-130's that have backlogged and only the ones being transferred were getting processed. She tried to tell me that Feb. 13, 2013 was the last petition processed and that she was sorry because she knew it was frustrating. And when I said the national goal for processing and approving I-130's is SUPPOSE to be 5 months, she tried to tell me that is not true. ranting33va.gif

What's your PD date? Ultimately they will/can only tell you Feb 13th as that's all

they are allowed to tell you. We know that it's more like April/May. If not, and remember

the Feb time was posted 31st Oct, then they are admiring they have made ZERO progress in 2 months, which cannot be true.

I think we will see transfers end of January, and approvals from early March onwards

We need a little more information. Where are you in the process, and what are you trying to do?

You're asking NVC for information about your USCIS case number, which shouldn't be happening. If you have received an NOA2, you'll have a case number from NVC, and that's what you need to make inquires with them.

If you have NOT received your NOA2, you need to use that MSC- number to contact USCIS instead.

Also recommend you remove your personal info from your post...

sorry...most on here know what I was doing. I was inquiring with the nvc because the big balls of misinformation at uscis said they no longer have my petition....I emailed santo domingo (because theyre soooo much nicer) and they said to email nvc...so that's what i did. Explaining what uscis said. And this is what i received in return. Yes I have a i130 and an i129f...

oh.....and i have already talked to uscis NUMEROUS TIMES....wont be doing that again ANY TIME soon if i dont have to. theyre ridiculous

Did you know you were at NVC? Are you petitioning for an i130?.

I would send the details first, ASAP, then call and question! What's your exact PD date again? And what enquiries did you make?

No Eastyo....i dont know where the heck i am lmao..im in limbo. pd was 8/2. I just told them the same as I told you guys. basically that the uscis said "oh...your info has been out of our hands since you got your noa1 and we no longer have it" yea cuz that makes sooooo much sense since i have no noa2! ugh

Because you sent a request to the NVC? Have you gotten your approval from the Us is yet? If not, then the nvc isn't going to be able to help you yet.

If you have, they may not have received it yet, or it may not be in their system yet.

I sent the inquiry to NVC because tier 1 and 2 and the misinformation uscis line insist that is where my stuff is and they say they can't help me. So obviously I need to go to the next level. There's no where else to go...until someone somewhere finds my paperwork..im going to ask anyone and everyone I can possibly ask.

From looking at your timeline, you are an August filer.

Unless there is an expedite, there is no way your petitions was approved and then sent to NVC.

NVC and USCIS are two different entities.

USCIS will process and then make a decision on your petitions (I-130 and I-129F since you filed both).

The answer you got from NVC is typical and correct since they don't have your petitions yet.

am I correct?

Aha, just found your other thread where you described what you're going through! I have no idea why Santo Domingo would tell you to call NVC, they won't know anything about your case at this point. Perhaps they meant NBC, which is where your petition should be located. Whoever at the call center told you your petition is out of USCIS' hands was flat out wrong. I know you don't want to deal with USCIS again, but they really are the ones who have your petition right now, and those awful tier 1 & 2 folks are the ones who can "help" you at this point. Neither the beneficiary's embassy nor the National Visa Center has any information on your petitions just yet. You could consider involving a senator/congressman to investigate on your behalf, but even if it takes a few calls and some frustration, you'll get the petitions' location confirmed faster if you get them back on the phone yourself.

thanks ...i couldnt do it after he said it. The original "copy and paste" I had removed the numbers...and it excluded half my message and when I did it again I guess the numbers were there again and i didnt realize it.

Because they know I have no one else to call....How many times should I call the uscis and get the exact same information as the first 4 phone calls?Believe me....i KNOW theyre wrong. And im definitely not looking past that. But If I contact the nVc...and they say they DONT have it...maybe the uscis will be forced to give me a different answer? Possibility. The only one I have. So calling the uscis over and over again isn't my answer. Its like beating a dead cow at this point. I have however emailed my congress woman weeks ago with no response yet.
