When NVC recieved my Affidavit of Support (AOS) fee and it showed paid in the payment portal I forgot to print and email myself my Affidavit of Support cover sheet. Now I am trying to recover it but I can't. I now realized I need the bar coded cover sheet to send my AOS packet. Only thing holding me back. Does anyone know how I can regain that? Please help!

Log in on the CEAC website. Choose "Invoice" at the top of the page. It will take you to the screen with your AOS payment and you can print your cover sheet from there. I had to email the cover sheet to myself and then print it. This is an option if you cannot print directly from that screen.

Guys,

I just filled the DS-261 right now and I received this message: " This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately." can any one help me what does this mean? and what is the next step?

when can I be able to pay the fees?

Thats actually a good thing that just sounds scary. Just means its processing. You should be able to pay very soon but don't be shocked if its a little while as they seem rather slow lately with invoicing.

Festa next week is yours...love ya chick!

Hi,,,,,

Hi Ana :)

Do you know if AOS and IV invoices come at the same time? I filled DS261 and paid AOS fee on 5/12, and have not received the invoice for the IV fee. I called NVC and was told it will take 30 days for them to review and accept the DS261 and then they will invoice the IV fee. Does this sound correct to you?

They ARE in fact saying thirty days for everything. However sometimes they ARE taking the 30 days they claim. Be hopeful, but dont doubt it can take that much time. Good luck..

I actually paid the AOS before sending the docs. I-864 was paid and then they will email you and you will be able to print the AOS cover sheet. You must pay first. Same with the IV Fees. The only reason it looks like we sent IV docs before fee was paid was because we were jerked around like so many are right now. Fee was paid on April 25 but not "invoiced" until 2 weeks later. But it showed paid and I was able to send our IV docs in before they invoiced it. I know it sounds confusing. But they will always want payments first. It's a good idea to at least let payment clear your bank before sending support docs. You must have the cover sheet! Good luck...you're almost there!

Use of the I-864, even if you qualified to use the EZ form will cause you no issues whatsoever.

Hello guys,

Through calling to NVC, I found out that they generated checklist for an error on AOS (I-864 form) and they explained me the error over the phone. However, I didn't get an email from them which will describe the checklist instruction. To save some time, I was thinking to send them back the corrected version of I-864 form including the cover sheet. My question to all of you is: Is there specific format to follow when we send them a response to checklist? I will appreciate if someone who passed through checklist process walk me through the contents of the checklist instruction letter. I also believe that the checklist instruction doesn't need to be sent back to them. Thanks a lot for your help!
