Kayla is right. they are all over place to approving the cases.

I saw some cases which filled August and Sep already approved.

About Tranfer cases, they are on first week of July.

They will start August cases withing next 10 days.

So what is the score with a transfer? Do they have to look at it (supposedly) within a certian time frame? i have seen 60 days quoted here somewhere?

I really hope i get a transfer in the next 10 days lol

Yes, they say that they then have 60 days, if it's in the hard copy letter you get in the mail. I believe that the more recent filers who are still within 6 months have not gotten that letter. And I also suspect that they are sending out ridiculous RFE's towards the end of that 60 day time frame to extend the time they have to process it. I think we'll see whether or not that is the case for sure within the next few days as a large group of us hits that 60 day mark.

Question, when they transfer, does it always go to the service centre closest to the petitioners address?. My wife's address is Cedar Rapids Iowa, if so what does that put us? - or is there zero correlation?

I know as Jan 3 2014 they have transfer cases fromJuly 15 and maybe end of july so in like a few weeks august cases will be transfer...

No, California has been the fastest by far up until now. They might slow down though, since there's been a work load from a different immigrant class there in the past few weeks. Nebraska is second fastest as far as I can tell (although I just got approved, and people who were transferred after me had already been approved, so there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.) and Texas is dead last, and also throwing out a lot of bizarre RFE's.

Here's a summary of how things are going for March-May transfers at each service center, according to the transfer spreadsheets:

TSC: 42% of transfers approved, average 24 days from transfer to NOA2
CSC: 86% of transfers approved, average 24 days from transfer to NOA2

April

NSC: 30% of transfers approved, average 24 days from transfer to NOA2
TSC: 58% of transfers approved, average 22 days from transfer to NOA2
CSC: 84% of transfers approved, average 14 days from transfer to NOA2

May

NSC: 15% of transfers approved, average 22 days from transfer to NOA2
TSC: 13% of transfers approved, average 21 days from transfer to NOA2
CSC: 70% of transfers approved, average 10 days from transfer to NOA2

Overall:

NSC: 37% of all transfers approved

TSC: 38% of all transfers approved

CSC: 80% of all transfers approved

It's important to note that members who are still waiting for approval after transfer have mostly been waiting substantially longer than the averages mentioned above; the transfer spreadsheets show individuals coming right up against (and beginning to exceed) the 60 day time frame given by USCIS. Also, as Kaylara notes, Vermont is transferring its workload for another petition type to CSC, so that center's statistics might change very rapidly. Nebraska has been churning out approvals lately according to VJ, while Texas has been churning out RFEs.
