Hi all,

Not sure if anyone on this thread can answer these questions but hoping you may at least be able to direct me to the right place. I am the peitioner and have been living overseas for the past four years with my husband. I am aware that I cannot technically be his sponsor because I have no income earned in the US but am still required to complete an I-864 form. I do have foreign earned income and have filed taxes in the US each year. I am wondering if I list my foreign earned income on the I-864 form or list it as '0'?

Thanks for any and all help! :)

How many do we still have for our Aug 2013 family here waiting on their NOA2?

I received NOA for my wife's I130 on 2/26/14 and her application is being sent on to NVC.

Had an RFE for her I129F - so just sent that one back.

My two children's I130 had RFE, so that's in process too.

But I'm holding back on the children's RFE so the I129F has time to get processed. I'd rather go that route right now.

7/29/13 Mailed I-130 package from Canada

8/2/13 IR1 NOA1 from MSC

8/20/13 Mailed I-129F package from Canada

8/30/13 K3 NOA1 from MSC

2/3/14 Case status to "Initial Review". Case transferred to another office.

2/5/14 Hard copy of transfer. Both IR1 and K3 cases transferred to CSC.

2/26/14 Email notice that IR1/I-130 for spouse is approved!

3/5/14 RFE for spouse's K3/I-129F

3/5/14 RFE for children's I-130

4/17/14 NVC case number assigned for spousal IR1/I-130

6/25/14 K3/I-129F for spouse's petition approved

7/21/14 I-130 for children's petitions approved

It's depend what kind of RFE you have got.

But usually it takes them 2 to 3 weeks to review and than approve case.

It was for bonafide marriage.

thanks!

Just wanted to share that if you are getting close to NOA2 or have recently gotten NOA2 you might want to consider going for or at least investigating the process for your PCC. Hubby just went today and its turning out to be a huge PITA and they can't even give us a timeline for completion! our NVC stage is all complete except for PCC.

hope this helps someone else to avoid delays! I know not every country makes it difficult to get the PCC so you might want to at least look into it. Even within India different states/cities have different procedures and it can prove difficult (or not so difficult depending on where you are)

Can you please share your hubby's experience? My wife would have to get her PCC soon to as our file will be at NVC soon. Did they give him hardtime with PCC process? Thank you. Hope it works out for you guys.

P.S. I know that PCC is not a must have document at NVC stage, so if for some reason you can't get it right away just NVC know you are having hard time obtaining one and will bring it to the interview. It has worked for many people. Good luck!
