2/25/14 NVC received

3/28/14 Assigned case number

3/31/14 Paid our AOS fees and mailed in the packet

4/2/14 AOS shows paid

4/3/14 Received the invoice for the IV fees

Now, we are waiting for the website to allow me to make the payment. Grrr.

Hi

i called NVC today and they told me that they just put our case in their system. The lady was very nice and gave me the NVC case number and IIN. but i need to call back tomorrow to give them our email addresses.she explained since they just entered it, she cant add anything on it yet? they recieved our case on 03/03. so it took them exactly one month. yaaayyyy finally more moving than waiting is happening :goofy::dancing::goofy::dancing:

Yay! Thank you! Your case was received one day before ours so hopefuly we will get a file number soon. The last lady I spoke with was really rude so I haven't wanted to ring back. Fingers crossed.

Can anyone tell me an approximate timing of when i will be getting my interview ? Interview for my wife would be in juerez, mexico and i got approved april 1st

There's a list in the NVC thread for this month where you can gauge about how long it might take you. But to give you an idea, I got my approval on Jan. 3rd, and I haven't gotten my case completed at NVC yet.

3/20/2013 - I130 Priority Date
11/6/2013 - Transferred to Nebraska
1/3/2014 - NOA2
1/6/2014 - Petition shipped to NVC
1/21/2014 - NVC Received

I sent in my RFE and CSC received it Friday 4/4, any ideas of how long it takes to hear something??

It's depend what kind of RFE you have got.

But usually it takes them 2 to 3 weeks to review and than approve case.

What is the number to call NVC? I recieved my NOA2 (approval letter) February 27. It's been more than a month now and I still haven't recieved any more news. Should I even be calling NVC to see if they recieved my case yet or should I just keep waiting until they let me know and assign me with my new case number? HELP!

You have to hang up and try redial many times to get through.

You can call early in the day or late in the day to avoid the extremely busy times. They open from 7 - 12 midnight EST.

When you call them you want to get a case#, and invoice ID#. You also want to provide them with Petitioner's and Beneficiary's emails.
