Approved last night.

TSC was taking forever so Monday my congressman sent an inquiry to them. Not sure if it helped but at least I'm on the way to NVC now!

Have any of you have been lucky enough to receive an NVC case number? Our case was recevied 03/04/2014 (or so they tell me) and just wondering where everyone else stands.

We got our case number on April 1st, our case was received on February 27th, although the person my husband didn't tell him the IIN, saying we would have received an email with that. But so far nothing so he's gonna try and call again today!

Definetely call back.. i called them today and they gave me our case no.. I had to ask for my IIN and the BIN. Lady on the phone gave it to me without hassle and also told me that an email will be sent to us with the information on it.

Also i was able to submit the DS261 today

I am the beneficiary and yep we can call. It is easier for me to call them rather than my husband. Plus, i don't have the patiance to wait for my husband to get off work and call them from home.. thats after 05:00pm EST.. midnight my time.. when I can be on the phone calling them a minute after they open up!

We got our Case number from NVC and they sent us an RFE, and we responded quickly to that. It was something very very small. So we are just waiting for our interview date to come thru. I am hoping it will come soon. I am not sure I understand all this paper shuffling. To me with all the technology that we have, there should be one central system where each section will have access to it, and you put your information there. When one section is done, they put in a code, and the next section is notified it's ready for them, then when they are done, they put in their code, and so on. This mailing of the original paperwork and copies is just stupid. There are people already in the USA that have fraud marriages and deceive the system and are broke when they marry, but yet that is allowed. It just seems like we are punished because we fell in love with someone that is not from this country. If they NBI says they are clean, then let it go. If you are worried about fraud, flag the visa for four years to receive no public assistance. That is not that hard. This being apart for a year or more while this process takes place is just stupid and just does not make sense to me. And have the automated system up and working, and give each stage a code. From one to ten for instance. Each section has a limited time to look at it, and it moves on. This whole process should not take more then 75 days and I am being generous. Really should be sixty. You call hear the stage you are in and you can have a great idea of when you are done. Once the USCIS approves you, then you should be home free. Some people just want to be together, that is the bottom line, nothing more, and they should make that happen. Sorry for the rant, but this waiting is just sad.

i called NVC today and they told me that they just put our case in their system. The lady was very nice and gave me the NVC case number and IIN. but i need to call back tomorrow to give them our email addresses.she explained since they just entered it, she cant add anything on it yet? they recieved our case on 03/03. so it took them exactly one month. yaaayyyy finally more moving than waiting is happening
