Hi friend..

I am a bit confused.

Which people go their case numbers in our sheet?

Coz i did not get case number yet i was expedite at uScis stage.

Also, my congressman email NvC last week but did not get any respond yet.

And by the way why you are not in the list ?

ehh.. i dont want you to stress out about my sheet entry.. not right now at least.

there are two august entries who have been granted their case numbers within ~ 10 days of their case being received at the NVC correct ?

i am guessing that they were both expedites and/or dcf filings.

I was under the impression that DFC don't deal with NVC. Everything after the I-130 is done at the embassy. I could be wrong though.

If you do DCF, you don't touch the NVC :)

Hi guys,

Do you know the price for DNA test. I talked a few AABB accredited DNA test center and they quote me different prices. I wonder if any one who has an idea about that can share me the experience. I am requested to do that as an option for RFE and prefer to submit it. It is for my mother. Thanks a lot.

Not that I know an answer to your question...but can you get other documents that satisfy the RFE: baptism certificate, affidavits from relatives, etc.?

I was transferred to CSC almost a month ago and am still waiting for an approval on a very uncomplicated file. And I was so excited to get a transfer notice from them, thinking I will get an approval in 10 days...CSC is not necessarily the most efficient processor. I am disappointed with CSC...

Can someone explain to me what exactly is the "RFE" that everyone talking about? it's something we need to send after the transferred?

BTW, we got transferred 30 days ago, and still waiting for approval,

it's starting to be ridiculous... 7 month of waiting and all the August fillers moving on, while we got nothing.

eXtopia did you ever get an answer to your question from someone? I hope I am not redundant. RFE is a 'request for evidence', if you have not backed up some information. Like if you say you are married, but you haven't included a copy of your marriage license. If you have not received an RFE letter, you don't have to worry about it. Shalom Shalom!

Thanks a lot for your reply. I tried it and the church didn't gave us that when I was born. Thought other options too but most doesn't look convincing for them and prefer to go ahead with DNA. To submit affidavits they requested evidence why I couldn't be able to submit the requested documents.

Hi everyone-- I filed the i-130 in August for my husband-- I believe my pd was Aug. 19th. I was informed that the case was transferred to TSC around Feb. 11, and since then nothing. is this typical of others´ experience?

Also, I am currently in my husband's country, waiting with him, so that he can get to know our son (born since I filed). I´m wondering if anyone has any idea if the next steps with NVC (whenever it may happen) will be doable to process from here, or if I should plan to return to the US for awhile at that point? I have a co-sponsor in the US.

THanks for any input!

Hey, it's not exactly typical, but neither is it atypical. About 70% of the transferred cases have been approved, but 30% of us, myself included, are still waiting.

It could be one of a million things, so there is no reason to worry!
