Some people are receiving these kinda update. But for me, i didnot receive any update after noa2.

It's center based. I think Texas and Nebraska send a separate notice of sending to NVC. California doesn't do that..

NVC received my I-130 approval yesterday (3/12). Earlier NOA2 date is 2/20 ( from TSC ). Can someone please update NVC Processing Times document ?

They contact the petitioner or beneficiary? after that when u receive the number case at NVC? tnx u for ur answer dear friend

For those who filed income taxes where you had to apply for a ITIN for your foreign spouse, does anyone know how long until we get our refund? I've heard 3-4 months.

The guy that files my taxes told me to file single because my husband is not in the U.S. so I did and now I feel like I am stuck because our case is with the Nvc and if I try to amend the tax return , it will take a while for them to respond with the amendment and all that so I don't know what to do ...do I call the Nvc and explain and maybe see what they say or do I just wait it out and hope they don't make it a big deal ? I didn't find out about the whole amendment thing until I saw a post about it

In my opinion you can call nvc or

only called if you get NvC ask something.. otherwise you will be fine with single status..

My husband filed taxes early febraury as Married filing seperately, He got his tax transcrips, tax returns and w2 on march 10th. Now we dont want to think of amendments , or any, we can jus organize papers for AOS now.

You should get you money back from the tax preparer first :-)

You can file the amendment now, and send that to NVC along with the other documents. You don't need a response, just file it and send the copy. Your transcript might not be updated in time, but having the copy of what you filed to IRS is more than sufficient.

My wife will be interviewing in Bombay. We still have some time to go, still haven't gotten the IV fee yet and after that all of the documents will need review (30 business days). Interview date after that, not sure what the gap between case complete and interview date at BMB is currently...

Haha, i changed it right after i wrote it, however you are both nice guys!

Thats great, I may start calling mid next week to see, but its only been 10 working days so I may wait until the week after!

I wouldn't wait, if you can make the time and wait 30-40 minutes try calling every other day at least. They have been sporadically assigning case#s as of late (apparently they are working OT). There is no reason to wait to get the process started just in case your # has been assigned. They don't send the emails to start the process until you call, which is ridiculous, so call if you can. My 2 cents...

I think i will call next week, probably every 3 days..... How do you know they have been working OT?

How long after the case # can you see/pay the AOS and IV (As i am using a lawyer i understand that a) i will not do a DS260 and b) my AOS and IV will come at the same time!
