I don't think that a change of the alien registration number has anything to do with how long it'll take till you get the approval. Mine was changed on October 7th, and except for the transfer on 02/24 nothing has happened so far.

We got a text message that our ARN was changed at 10:30 and at 10:35 approved followed by 2 more emails.
