My issue is that I actually need a letter from the NVC to be able to get my police check from Hong Kong.

They say I need a letter, from the relevant authority, stating that a police check is required for the vida (although this I hear can be a print out from the website). It is not like the UK where I can just apply for one without any proof I actually need it, plus they will only send direct to the NVC.

Ok, your case has that exception, In a couple of weeks when you call NVC to confirm they have received your case file I would ask them on the phone if such a letter can be provided by the NVC.

I would like to hope that they have some sort of procedure for such a situation. Just clarify to them that you are no longer in Hong kong and thus your PCC cannot be sent straight though to the US embassy there.

Do they approve on Fridays? I can't take this anymore....I have no more nails and soon hair will fall too.

OMG...so I just looked everything up and my "adult" daughter falls under the dependent criteria because I claimed her on my income tax. I NEED a sponsor. This so sucks....next thing to worry about :(cray5ol.gif

I-130 & I-129f: TRANSFERRED TO CSC 2/7/14

I-130 & I-129f: APPROVED 2/20/14

NVC:

3/4/14: NVC Case Received

3/7/14: Email that case number and IIN assigned, DS 261 and AOS fee available to pay

3/14/14: JUST seen the email because I wasn't expecting it so soon. Paid AOS FEE & filed ds 261

3/21/14: AOS paid, cover sheet printed

4/28/14: AOS sent

4/28/14: IV paid

5/5/14: IV submitted

in the process of sending civil docs for IV package...thennnnnn...dun dun...NOOOO checklist i hope! lol

I believe it! Does anyone know what the processing time is? I've seen TSC take up to 60 days then issue an RFE to buy themselves more time. If that happens to me, I'm going to take a few days off work just to spend the entire day calling them hahaha!!

In the transfer sheet you are in California...should not take too long as TSC

I was CSC and it took mine 13 days. just fyi...mine was much longer than others...not sure of your dates.

USCIS:

I am also transferred on Feb. 24 and got info about my center. My PD is Aug 30 and NOA is Sept 03. Do I belong to August filers?
