Hello. We were filing both 130 and 129F. Both petitions have been transferred to CSC, according to the website. However, we keep getting updates and notices on 130 only, so our assumption is that they have already killed our 129F. But we shall see soon. Be patient.

Should I call CIS or NVC ?

Before you receive NOA2, you can't call NVC, they don't know anything about you yet. All inquiries are through USCIS.

After NOA2, you can call USCIS to find out when they shipped your petition, but it's easier just to wait a couple of weeks and then begin calling NVC to find out if they've received it. I would recommend starting with NVC and only calling USCIS to find out when they shipped if there seems to be a problem. NVC is much easier to work with.

How do you know? My paper copy of NOA2 says it has been shipped. Is there another way to know? Thanks.

The hard copy has boilerplate text but doesn't necessarily indicate when your petition is actually shipped. You'll need to follow up with NVC in a week or two to see if they have it yet.

Hi Everyone!

My husband and I also filed in August for our I 130. We recently got transfered from the National Benefit Center to the California Center this past week. I now have gotten two emails from USCIS saying " February 24, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I 130." Is this good news?

Husband submits for vacation from Protection Civile: 10/28/2015

Husband submits for demission from Protection Civile :11/10/2014

On February 25, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

On February 25, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

It means what it says, you were transferred. Don't worry about the notifications, just wait until you get the letter through....
