Yes I called both the USCIS and NVC. The folks at USCIS are clueless about things. When I called to check if my file has been transferred to the NVC, the representative asked me to check back after 90 days! I wonder what was she smoking! I promptly hung up and called NVC and they confirmed that they had received the file couple of days back. Calling USCIS is just pointless. I have not once got any worthwhile information from them.

NVC is way better. You do end up with some rude folks but for the most part they are informative and 90% of the time done mislead. I would keep calling NVC to get updates. USCIS will always say it has left and we cant tell you anymore or check back. NVC does test your redial skills though!

dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

updated spreadsheet.. i put 2/24 let me know if it is diff.

Can someone update the spreadsheet please, we were sent to CSC.

done!

I got transfered to texas are they moving fast? Im worried now sad.png

dont be worried, thats where i am, and they also seem to be moving... if you were NSC i would say, go hide under a rock and hope it squashes you because you arent goign to hear anything for at least 6 weeks.

I got this message on Jan 28 and until now I haven't received any further updates. I read few posts with similar message which says they received approval shortly after this notice. I was transferred to CSC on Jan 22 and this wait is really making me concerned since its almost more than a month.

Any advice folks?

On January 28, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

yes, maajority of people who got this, reported approval within 24 hours... keep checking back! congrats!!!!!!!

keep us updated.

Hey guys got a transfer to california could the spreadsheet be updated to reflect.

You've been updated!

Thanks! So it took 2 weeks for your file to reach NVC. My NOA2 was exactly 1 week after yours so maybe NVC will get my file this week.

Did you call NVC? I called NVC last week and they said I had to call USCIS. USCIS just said they have no idea what date my file was sent tongue.png

Yes we are settling in for a wait now with NVC but I am still MUCH more optimitic than I was before my NOA2!

I think its good we keep the august folks updated so that way we can all see what's going on and what our expectations will be. So in some ways those August people not getting transferred/approved until now they can follow what the early August folks have been going through and hope they go through the same thing!

It's been 4 days since my NOA2 and my hubby is going to make the first call today. We stay optimistic that it won't take long. Keep fingers crossed! I like that we keep posted about our transitions to NVC because we can get some idea on how much time all these waits will take. Hope we both hear good news soon!

Woo Hoo! I just called (waited on hold for 34 min) the NVC and they received my case on Friday the 21st! The lady said to allow 20-30 BUSINESS days (she specifically said about 6 weeks due to holidays and weekends) until I get a case number and it is registered in their system. But at least I know my case reached the NVC!

YAY!

Yup I was at CSC and got NOA2 on the 12th so I guess it took 6 business days (13,14,18,19,20,21) to reach the NVC. I know the 17th was a holiday but do we know if there were any snowdays in there? I don't think so?

Yup! I am hoping it gets thru quick, I would like to submit my NVC documents before I leave for India on April 30, otherwise it will be a bit of a pain to have to line up my mom/sis/dad to send them from US while I am gone.
