I got this message on Jan 28 and until now I haven't received any further updates. I read few posts with similar message which says they received approval shortly after this notice. I was transferred to CSC on Jan 22 and this wait is really making me concerned since its almost more than a month.

Any advice folks?

So some of the early August NOA2 its been 3 weeks (approx) since the NOA2, has anyone heard anything from NVC about even receiving their file (I know its too much to expect a case no. yet but maybe the file has been received?)

NVC confirmed receiving my file on the 19th. I was told that the case number will take 2 weeks. But from what I seeing in other threads, it is taking up to a month to issue the case number after receiving the file. Not very nice to hear that. I guess the excitement of having the NOA2 will soon wear off as we brace ourselves for the slow moving NVC stage.

Thanks! So it took 2 weeks for your file to reach NVC. My NOA2 was exactly 1 week after yours so maybe NVC will get my file this week.

Did you call NVC? I called NVC last week and they said I had to call USCIS. USCIS just said they have no idea what date my file was sent :P

Yes we are settling in for a wait now with NVC but I am still MUCH more optimitic than I was before my NOA2!

I think its good we keep the august folks updated so that way we can all see what's going on and what our expectations will be. So in some ways those August people not getting transferred/approved until now they can follow what the early August folks have been going through and hope they go through the same thing!

Yes I called both the USCIS and NVC. The folks at USCIS are clueless about things. When I called to check if my file has been transferred to the NVC, the representative asked me to check back after 90 days! I wonder what was she smoking! I promptly hung up and called NVC and they confirmed that they had received the file couple of days back. Calling USCIS is just pointless. I have not once got any worthwhile information from them.
