Hey all- Has anyone gotten a status update on their application? It looks like they've expedited beneficiaries from the Philippines but what about other countries? I'm approaching my 4 month mark and I've been debating about calling the USCIS about my application status.

Not likely to hear anything any time soon.. USCIS is still transferring files from April, which means there is still May, June and July filers to be moved before they even touch Aug filer petitions.

Hopefully, and this is me being optimistic, we might start seeing some movement for Aug by the end of February.

There is nothing to do for us but wait. Im trying to focus on other things, like my visit to my husband on Jan 24th!!

51 days... 23 hours.. and 4 mins to go!!!

Just wanted to share the info I got last night from my senator's office:

Good afternoon,

After a review of our systems it was found that Case MSCXXX, Form I-130 filed by KATHLEEN XXXX on behalf of ABHIJEET XXX is currently pending and located at the NBC. The estimated processing time for I-130 petitions is an additional six months from today’s date. These delays are due to workload factors not related to your constituent’s case. If your constituent does not receive a decision or other notice of action from USCIS by that date, please contact your USCIS congressional liaison.

Due to the extremely high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that has been set for these expedite requests. Based on the information provided, we are unable to expedite the processing of this case. All expedite requests must be accompanied by supporting documents that demonstrate that one or more of the expedite criteria have been met. Information regarding the expedite criteria can be found at the link below.

Expedite Criteria

USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing.

I hope this information helps.

I am just happy to say that we received an email last night that our I130 was approved and the notice is in the mail. I am hoping that I will get that today or tomorrow. It was transferred to the California Service Center. It got transferred there on November 25. I know that it will still a long way to go, but at least it is progress, that is really what I want to see. So I am hoping that all these transfers will make things go faster for everyone, and best of luck to you all.

Every time a person submits an expedite request without meeting the criteria, it unnecessarily delays all applications behind it.
