It is actually a good thing since Vermont is very slow at processing i130s compare to California. Did you request to speed up process, such as any expedite request? or they just transferred your file to california automatically?

Hi all, congrats to everyone who was approved! We got our email on Saturday afternoon (we're in Australia, so would have been Friday night). Huge relief to say the least, hope everyone else gets their approvals sooner rather than later! I have been doing a lot of research but I am somewhat confused about the NVC process. Would someone be able to send me in the right direction about what the next process looks like? Also, I am currently living and working overseas with my husband and am wondering if we will need a joint sponsor for the Affadavit of Support. Does anyone have experience with this? Would be great to hear any suggestions/advice. Thanks for the help!

I have been reading on the process for awhile and it seems that the NVC will send you directions and guidance about what you should be doing next ...just gather your most important stuff like your tax documents , etc... otherwise, there isn't really much you can do until you get at least a case number

-About the joint sponsor, I am doing the joint sponsor too and I am a little confused as well about whether my sponsor is supposed to fill out a seperate i-864 or him and I will fill out the same one

Try this link, it gives you all the info you need, practically step by step :).

Also, from what I understand, the affidavit of support needs to be completed for each sponsor separately.

Can someone please update the spreadsheet that i got an RFE

done.. let us know what's in RFE.

I haven't been on VJ much the past 2-3 days as I have been working and in my free time trying to figure out what is needed for the National Visa Center. I usually try to keep up with all the august filers but now I have fallen a little behind.

I am right there with you Lisa............confused, lol. I understand my part but my question is.....once we get the number from NVC do I just go pay the fees and the DS-260 package is a hard copy mailed to my husband or do we log on to some site to electronically fill in the forms? Its all kind of confusing. I understand what is needed just not how we get it.

Deep I am so so happy for you. congratulations......what a roller coaster ride you have been on.

Now where is Izzy? Did you get approval yet my friend? I haven't seen you for while now.

Thank you so much..

Deep35472 YAY congrats on your approval!

So happy to see so many people are getting approvals and transfers!

now quick quest. I got my NOA2 and I am going to be moving in April. Do i need to update my address with USCIS or how do I change it once it gets to the NVC? Its the same apt complex (so same street, city, state, zip just different number). Or does it matter at all that I am moving?

In my opinion. You should change your address at NVC.

Uscis do not have your case anymore.

And Thanks for wish.
