Why can't they just send one!! lol!!

Maybe we should draft a transfer email/text/update for them and send it through. Something along the lines of..

I got anther one

Dear Petitioner who expects any sort of expedient resolutions for you uncomplicated case.

Your I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE, OR ORPHAN was finally transfered to Southern California Or Mesquite, TX, and is now (sort of) being processed. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made. or if the office needs something from you. We apologise for your wait, really wish we could do more but who are we kidding. Naaaaaa.

The new office has jurisdiction over your case and we will send you a decision at an odd hour- or if youre super lucky a frivolous RFE to which we will take forever to respond to. As soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. Then it will take forever to get to the NVC so don't think to yourself that its all over

Sincerely

CIS

Congratulations on all transfers and approvals! This is awesome news and we all want this news for us asap! :)

I start worrying that it has been 18 days since my transfer and there is nothing new... People get approved who have been transferred later than I was (2/3) and whose PD is later than mine (8/12)... Why is that?

Is it possible that these early bird cases are very straightforward? No prior marriages and no kids? Can some approved folks voice their opinion please?

It might be, at least our case is very simple as you said no previous marriage, no kids, been together for 4 and 1/2 years and lived together 3, no high risk country, no overstay nor previous visa issues.. Or maybe is just luck..maybe someone else can share their experience!

Does it say when you put your case in that you have been transferred? Usually it is updated at the same time, I would not be suprised if your transfer has happened/or is happening today.

nah....I don't think that is the case. My situation involved divorces and it is a high fraud country.

wanted to congratulate everyone on their transfers and approvals......I know what a relief it is to see some action on your petition. I have been reading up and working on paperwork for the past 2 days to get ready for NVC. What a headache, lol. I also had to amend my 2013 federal tax return. I know its been discussed in other threads but pls, someone who has done this before.......will IRS really accept my return if I just write in NRA where the SSN belongs?
