03-11-2014: NVC received case

03-19-2014: NVC sent case back to USCIS

04-07-2014: USCIS got the case

sent case back to NVC again :P

4/11/2014: NVC case number assigned.

4/21/2014: AOS and IV fees Paid.

4/24/2014: DS-260 submitted.

5/01/2014: AOS packet scanned

Wow things happened last night! Very cool for Aug people.

Who can add another column on our spreadsheet? I am not good with tables and dont want to mess it up- would like a column that is NOA2-NVC received

or something like that.

I do like the idea of sticking together- maybe we just carry on in this thread as well as looking into the the FEB nvc one- though we might be March NVC by the time they get there.

update- oh i see that Adyta started one but then they closed it on her.

My NOA1 was August 23 and I got the notice last night that we have been transferred. Now I have to wait for the mail to find out where I was transferred to. Hoping for a place that is giving fast approvals!!!

We got our official letter in post today about approval. :)

Our lawyer wants us to get Tax transcripts from here: http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

There's only one active NVC thread at a time. Nice enthusiasm there buddy, but you're stepping on Saylin's toes :P When the time comes -- i.e., a new month actually starts -- Saylin will create the March NVC thread with her super duper informational first two posts.

Anyone who hasn't had a chance to look at the NVC thread and see what it's all about: everyone currently in processing at NVC participates in the current month's NVC thread together, and then the next, and the next, for however long you're in processing. NOA1 and NOA2 dates matter less when you move to NVC, and you start paying attention more to people whose cases were received at NVC the same day as yours. Please do start reading up on the next steps now. Much like the I-130, NVC forms don't have to be difficult, you just have to understand what they're asking for.

Question, that has probably been answered before, but i got an email stating my case was transferred on the 18th Feb (last night at 00:45 UK time), then one just now (13:50 uk time) saying my case was transferred on the 19th....

.... What did we decide this means?

USCIS


August 22nd 2013: NOA 1


February 18th : Transferred to California


February 26th : NOA 2


March 3rd : NOA 2 Hard Copy



NVC


March 7th 2014: Case received by NVC


April 4th 2014: NVC Case# and IN #Received

I think an email goes off every time they scan or punch in the case number or whatever else they do to it.. Should get a 3rd one too.
