At least we are seeing a) some good movement, well on TSC and CSC, and b) a realistic perhaps honest? update!

This should mean (remember that July/August has a lower number of petitions) that;

TSC is at late June early July

CSC late July early August

The rest - late may early June

Of course, there are always some that are missed, but we have to work with the info we are given

Did USCIS slow down transfers last month when they did an update? As someone has used their shared computer to do this today, I hope it doesn't stop the transfers!

Why do you think that? I hope you are right!

the first few days after the update we get many updates so hopefully this mean august transfers will be done really soon

According to USCIS case tacking site, the average processing times are...

CSC = 7.1 months

TSC = 8.1 months

NSC = 9.0 months

So it really is russian roulette, however I would be really surprised if transfers went to the worst performing service centre!

Got my hard copy transfer notice today. California Service Center!!! Kinda odd because my first transfer notice came at 2/10, but the letter said the transfer date is 2/11. Does anyone know why that could be?

It does look like whoever got transferred on 2/10 will go to CSC.

When you look at times lines here at VJ and you see a comment LIKE this:

"Based on Timeline Data, your I-130 will be adjudicated between XX-XX-XXXX and XX-XX-XXXX"

what is adjudicated referring to more specifically? Is it arrived at the NVC, is it at the NVC and ready to go to the consulate? Is it just arrived at the USCIS service center and being approve?

Is it CASE complete? what do those dates signify?

That estimate is for your NOA2, but it's based on other VJ members' timelines, which means it's not very reliable. It might've been more accurate before this backlog, but for the past year, nope.

Figure 2-3 months to get through NVC to case complete, and half that time is just waiting for them to put your case in the computer. Then hopefully not more than a month or two to get to your interview.

How come it is not that accurate any more?

The estimates assume linear approvals based on first in, first out policy, and we know that's not what's happening. USCIS is bouncing all over the place and VJ isn't set up to predict their desire to rig the numbers. When I filed in June last year, my timeline estimated an October approval. At no point during my processing did the estimate reflect when my actual approval came (January). A lot of filers still awaiting adjudication have estimates already in the past, etc. Until USCIS returns to chronological processing, the estimates probably won't be much use.

Very good point, what do you make of the rapid approvals of July and August (so far) do you see this slowing down?
