I agree, its for sure a number fudge!. Do you think August/September filers will continue to go quickly?

I don't know... it seemed to slow down this week, although I seem to recall that there was a similar slowdown just before the "updated" numbers came out last month from USCIS.

I do think that they will continue this 2 pronged approach for as long as it takes until they get to the applications from mid-late October, when they started sending them out to the service centres on arrival (so after about Oct 20, nobody needs transfers, since they're already at the office that will process them). I think they'll try to get through those remaining petitions that have been sitting at NBC. Of course I have skin in the game, so to speak, since my petition (Oct 9) is among the last that needs to be transferred.

It looks like they've been pretty quick transferring and approving July and August and I should think they'll have to continue at this pace if they want to get anywhere near their stated goal of being back around 5 months by May.

Is your timeline updated?

I remember the slowdown, in January it was a transfer every day and we thought that August would start 'any day now", i guess we just have to see what next week brings.

If they can work at this pace then I see no need to slowdown, if they do it only creates another back long with the petitions that were sent directly!

Why are you worried?, you need to look at the transfer sheet, they have only just reached August 20th, and still have a 19th.... you should get a transfer next week...... Calm down, getting worried will not help, this is an awful process, but use what you have (Such as the transfer sheets) to keep yourself sane....

Its also only February 16th....

Hey guys! I checked the status of our case and I was happy to see that we got approved on February 13!!!!! And our petition was in TSC

Prim, quick question, since you were at TSC and i know early on TSC was giving out RFE like holiday candy, i wanted to know if you submitted full birth certificate for beneficiary?

i included the short form cause it wasnt even required but then when i saw people were getting RFE for them, i mailed 1 to NBC (included my NOA1, etc.) and then when i got transferred to TSC, i mailed another one off with cover letter, transfer sheet, and long form birth certificate. Other than that, i am not worried about the rest of the package... thanks!

this will help put my mind at ease!

I believe that they will keep transferring cases that have PD of October 20th and after. According to timeline here, so far only Texas and California service centers are adjudicating i130s. There has been hardly couple cases that were transfer to vermont center from NBC, and most of the cases that went straight to Vermont have been transferred to TSC or CSC. A lot of cases after October 20th have gone to Vermont and I wouldn't be surprised if they get transferred to Texas or Cali.

That being said, does anybody know what Vermont Service center has been working on, and why they aren't receiving any of i130s transferred from NBC?
