No facts, BUT from what I have read here at VJ, the TSC seems to have less of a work load than CSC, You and I have the same PD, but you have not updated your timeline? I still have not received a transfer notice-- you got your formal letter pretty quick- WHEN I get my transfer notice I hope I get my letter that quick also. Correct me if I am wrong but NOW you are waiting for a CASE Number and your INVOICE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER -- that would be the next step for you yes or no? then after you have that information you can submit your AOS and pay the fee? correct?

I tried updating my timeline to where we were transferred not sure if it took it or not lol.....and I think for now I'm just waiting on if we get approved or not....which I'm praying will be a fast and speedy approval. What I don't know is if this is when they will ask for the affidivat of support and things or is that at the NVC??

Please keep us updated on your progress and best wishes to you!!!

It just would feel soooooo good to be able to pick up the phone and call someone who I could give a case number to and they could look at my paperwork and give me a definitive answer on what I need or don't need and what to expect- this just waiting and getting these canned responses - wait -and speak when spoken to is one of the most frustrating things I have ever experienced- partially because it is so long- 6 months of waiting just to be told you are transferred and now you can wait some more is sort of .... a downer.

but in the end we do what we have to do

Mileage may vary at Texas. I know there are April filers still waiting for an approval from there who are over 60 days since transfer. Not sure about May. They've done a bit over half of the June transfers, and those approvals came after a month on average. June filers still waiting are going beyond 60 days. But based on approvals recorded on VJ, July has had a lot of attention at TSC, so August could very well get lucky too.

This is the issue, why are they so out of line, there have been approvals from TSC for August and quite a few from July, so why are April filers waiting?

My theory is that USCIS is trying to improve "average" wait times by working both forward from March/April and then, skipping forward, from July/August. We can assume that some of the really early filers with no approvals are actually more complicated cases that actually do require more time, although most of them just got lost in the box room. And they are definitely the group that's getting the most effed over in this whole backlog scenario.

It certainly looks like an attempt to make the numbers look better. Which will benefit filers from July forward, but I know that doesn't help the people who've been waiting so long to be reunited with their loved ones.

Is your timeline updated?

I really hope that's the case. I looked at the average number of days from NOA1 TO NOA2 for both July and August filers and for both groups it hovered around 186 days. I'm hoping that continues to be the case, but am not that optimistic given how the USCIS operates.

Wow. I really feel like I have moved from the "unlucky" club into the "LUCKY" club! After checking the mail three times today I was rewarded with a notice our petition has been transferred to CALIFORNIA!!!

Special prayers for those who filed before us and are still waiting, but I think it will only be a short time now before everyone gets to move on to the next step!
