I sent in a copy of mine (USC) and my husbands both the certified copy and translated one.

I got one around 615 CST, and was wondering what it meant and if this was normal??

I hoping and praying and waiting to get my notice, I imagine the sense of relief is overwhelming after 6 months of nothingness. looks like it may be Tuesday for me (at the earliest)--

I know what you mean! Now we're just waiting on getting the hardcopy of where we were transferred to.

It may be regional, but I know that in Honduras they will accept self certification- I was told that by the local office here USCIS -- I should be careful in dispersing info-- it probably does depend on WHERE.

Did everyone get this as a third notification?

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I also received this third notification. I've received several notifications but I've never received anything in the mail. I called USCIS to confirm they have my correct mailing address. They thankfully have the correct address but I still have never received any official notices. USCIS even "resent" another copy.

Anybody else experience this or have other recommendations?

I think the "N/A" requirement comes at the NVC stage. It should be fine with USCIS.

The three transfer notices are expected. Everybody gets them. It's a result of their internal procedures to get the applications shipped.

The key is the notice you'll get in the mail, this will tell you where you get transferred.

I just wanted to say I am so excited and happy for everyone! I know that seeing those ahead of me get transferred and approved really helped keep my spirits up! I hope my approval helps keep the spirits up for others too!

Now how do we stay together as a group since we are such a lovely team as we move on to the NVC stage?! I don't want to lose any of the wonderful support that we have had in our August thread!

You don't need a police certificate from the US, even if you lived there before for more than six months. All countries where you lived for over 6 months after age of 16 other than US require a police clearance certificate.

You still need to file married regardless of living situation. You have to decide if you want to file Married-separate or Married-joint.

I filed head of household since my husband is out of the country and has no SS# and no income here.

hey everyone.......when I got transferred I too got 5 text and 2 emails. It drove me crazy. Every time I check my status online at uscis it was something different. The first time said I was transferred on the 3rd. The next time it said the 5th. The first email said I was transferred on the 5th and the next only said I was transferred to my local office.

I receive my hard copy on the 10th and didn't even check my status online again till the next day when I read aditya's post that he was approved. When I went and checked I found my petition approved

its crazy but I guess its the norm so don't worry if you keep receiving text

should I start gathering the paperwork for NVC already or do I wait until I get the approval first ?

should I be expecting a transfer notice within the next few weeks?

Exactly six months from the NOA1....
