Is their any possibility to get approve at NBC without getting transfer..??

Yes. For expedites and DCFs.

Everybody else goes to one of the three.

I think that your expedite may be the thing holding up your transfer.

Because they're not sure what to do with your petition in the event that they approve your expedite, they're just keeping it at the NBC.

I can't withdraw K3. It's big risk.

Bit I am thinking to withdraw expidite request.

But still confused.

I am waiting for service request answer about my case.

They told me to wait 15 days also I got info pass appointment on Feb 20th.

If nothing happened by next 2 weeks than I have to withdraw expidite request.

Yeaa..

the NVC is technically the "document collection" station for the IV interview.

ranting33va.gifranting33va.gifranting33va.gif

Such a time waste. We can always carry them with interview.. Why do they have an additional step of NVC... #######

It is, always a good idea to obtain two CERTIFIED copies of the following - and send only ONE OF EACH to the NVC

- birth cert

- marriage cert

- police cert

What do u mean by CERTIFIED COPIES???? for India particularly...

Is it the notary certified documents?

In the unlikely (but possible) event that any of these doesnt get delivered by DHL or something gets misplaced, you can give the other certified/original copy to the officer at the IV interview.

Also NVC has an e-submission thing. Does that apply for our case?

They take everything from you and DHL it (they actually use DHL and will provide you receipt numbers once they're "case complete") to the embassy.

There is nothing that you can do about it

It was worse before (they are trying to make it all electronic now - but that does not apply to India just yet)

It is, always a good idea to obtain two CERTIFIED copies of the following - and send only ONE OF EACH to the NVC

- birth cert

- marriage cert

- police cert

Is it the notary certified documents?

If you have the original birth and marriage certificate - that's all you need.

I was married in the US a while back so I only get a certified copy of my marriage certificate - does not apply to folks who were married outside the US.

The police certificate does not have to be notary certified.

If you have country specific NVC questions, I think they'll be addressed on the NVC forum/topics list.

Beneficiaries from India cannot do e-submission.

We have to mail them to the NVC by Indiapost/DHL/bluedart/fedex etc.
