I think most prefer to end up at the CSC for the time to approval (duration).

Then again, every case at the CSC is not alike.

My i-129f pd is Nov 14 and

I-130 is 12 Aug..

I did not get transfer yet.

There are six more Super-Transfer days in this month.

You will get to the CSC and then forget all this ever happened.

I also HIGHLY doubt that they would start transferring Sep filers before they finish all of August.

I say that because that has not happened for any of the months since transferring as a process was kicked off.

The NBC does everybody and that includes everybody -- before they go to the next one.

Keep the faith brother.

Two questions

1) Do the alien spouse need to submit ORIGINAL 1) birth certificate and 2) Marriage certificates to NVC while sending the immigration visa packet ?

2) Can you list out the documents required at NVC stage?

I am not sure if it is the same for you, but for me I have been told to ONLY bring my original documents to the embassy in London when I have my interview.

Also, please take the time to look up the NVC threads, this is a good one below...

Lets hope for today! But 3 days is not a lot to transfer...... I would have thought they would have at least got through a weeks worth this week...

B&G is right.

On the NVC IV checklist document - which is the same for all i'd imagine, they want you to provide the original for the Birth Certificate AND the marriage certificate.

So do they send them back for the consulate interview?

So do they send them back for the consulate interview?

Yeaa..

the NVC is technically the "document collection" station for the IV interview.

They take everything from you and DHL it (they actually use DHL and will provide you receipt numbers once they're "case complete") to the embassy.

It is, always a good idea to obtain two CERTIFIED copies of the following - and send only ONE OF EACH to the NVC

- birth cert

- marriage cert

- police cert

In the unlikely (but possible) event that any of these doesnt get delivered by DHL or something gets misplaced, you can give the other certified/original copy to the officer at the IV interview.

So do they send them back for the consulate interview?

Rule of thump is that originals are sent to NVC. Birth certificate, marriage certificate and police certicates. You should make photocopies of everything as when you get to the Embassy stage, they will ask for photocopies so that originals are returned back to you.

However, each embassy works different. For example, Greek embassy wants my Greek police record to be sent straight through to the embassy, no translation required.

Each country has their own procedures. Its better to ask in the UK region forum exactly what they want.
