You'll get a couple of emails/texts on the 11th and on the 12th that won't be very useful.

On the 12th they will mail out a letter to your address (EITHER in the continental US or outside).

It will have the super-duper-secret-location of WHERE you were transferred to.

It goes by standard first class mail and has no tracking.

American bureaucracy.

As dumb as you remember it.

On the other hand..... CONGRATULATIONS BROTHER !!!!

Good luck everyone!

Well, prediction-wise, it could be either tomorrow, fri or next Tuesday (because next monday is a US federal holiday).

Either way, you'll be at CSC by the 18th.

Good luck and may god bless !!

Hello everyone I am new here but basically I have read and read and read and I am happy to say we are very alike I have filed for my wife in August and got my transfer a few days ago on the February 7th. and received a letter on the 9th. saying my i130 is being sent to CSC.

I am so excited!! My wife is in Canada and i'm in the US

I have a question though does anyone know what is next? Like is it on fast track to being done like time frame wise is it another 10 months or maybe just another 3? Does anyone have step by step what needs to get done and can break it down or if there is a link to the info that would be lovely.

I hate the wait any info would be amazing!! Thank you so much and I wish everyone luck as we wait out this endeavor

next step is the NVC... there's a monthly thread in this same subforum with more info. good luck

If your transfer has gone to CSC it seems that likely your approval (NOA2) will come within a week or two. Then you will move on to NVC, where you will need to prepare your affidavit of support and your wife will fill in an online form or 2 and you'll pay a couple more fees.

Then your file moves on to the US embassy in Montreal where your wife will have her medical and interview!

It seems like from NVC on out, we (petitioners and beneficiaries) have much more control over our destinies, and they go much faster, as long as we're prepared!

Congrats on your transfer!

Is your timeline updated?
