Aug 2013 I-130 filers

Just out of curiosity I called the USCIS today to see what kind of update they would give me on out I-130.....AND all I got was a EXTREMELY RUDE and AGORANTE SOB! Excuse my French! I calmley asked if there was an update on my case he asked for the MSC # he said its for an I130. I said yes, then he said oh it at the NBC. I asked is there a way to know if it will or has been transferred and he proceeded to tell me no there was no way to know that I would have to wait until I got a letter from them saying where it got transferred to, and from the looks of things it would probably be later in the year because they are barely working on March of 2013. I said oook and he said ok blah blah have a good day and hung up!!! I mean serious being customer ser. rep and you hang up without asking if they have any questions

Did you talk to a tier-2 rep? The people that answer directly have absolutely no idea about anything. But based on pattern we've seen you should be next up on the transfer, tonight at 7ET could be a good time when we see the next batch of notices going out. Wish you the best.

I just received the hard copy of the transfer. I-130 and 1-129F were transferred to CSC. I think most of the Aug transfers will be to CSC.

I didn't talk to a tier 2 because he hung up before I could ask to be transferred to one. I'm really hoping that we get some good news in the next couple of hours or days.

Ignore what a Tier 1 says, they have zero info and are frequently rude. Mind you, im not surpassed being the lowest position in a place like USCIS....

We know they are past March, that info is from October 2013!

63% of July members who reported transfers are approved. Looking at broader VJ timeline stats, about 50% of July filers have put an NOA2 date on their timelines. June is hovering more around 35% for both, though.

This is part of the problem with our data. Since we are each totally responsible to keep our information updated on VJ (and the data that VJ accumulates is totally dependent on compliance from its members) our data is skewed because of people who don't keep their information updated. So I suspect that the data is more likely to be accurate for those of you who reported transfers, simply because we know for a fact that you are continually updating your info.

As evidenced on the Igor's List type of information on the Timelines page, approvals rarely reach much higher than 80%, partially due to members not following up when they get approvals etc.

Certainly some of the discrepancy is due to other factors - some filers who never got transferred, maybe, or some with some other kind of delay who never noticed (or wanted to buy into) the transfer spreadsheets, but I suspect that a lot of the difference is just that those July filers who didn't report transfers only signed on to get an early piece of information and haven't been active since.

Just check my mail..........we got transferred to CSC!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy!!!!! Hope everyone has a happy day with lots of transfers and approvals.
