So if that is the case, then my petition is actually there today at whichever Service Center is going to process it. Correct? Just want to make sure I am clear on this. So the 60 days begin today.

the last update in teh USCIS website should read the following at the end of the transfer process:

"The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box

the same as you i have been spoke to them evry week now and the same answer i talk also to supervisor and he told me they are still with march ... we don't no maybe we will hear good news

I have a August 15th date and waiting patiently to hear some news on an I-130 (spouse). I just spoke with USCIS regarding a change of address. While I had them on the phone I asked about processing timelines and she indicated they are currently working through the March submissions of this type and it could be as much as 5 months before I could see a decision. Just curious if this jives with what others are hearing? It's currently sitting at MSC

It should read....

"The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred somewhere and is probably going to be processed at a USCIS office. You will be perhaps notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. We will also tell you we will take action in 60 days, however please ignore this as it is #######. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. Oh, and thanks for your cash, we spent it on new chairs with a recline function to help us sleep during the day when we should be adjudicating your petitions.

Guys I literally JUST got an email also saying its at the local USCIS office on Feb 5?! So is this the "2nd email" that everyone is talking about and I should get a "3rd email" when it reaches the service center or am I actually going to the Cleveland office??

On February 5, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

So we called up asking about where we got transferred to, Lee Summit, Missouri, it turns out. Yay waited half a year for a room transfer....

We filed from overseas, may be why.

PS. PD Aug 6, filed i-129f in Jan. Transferred on Feb 3rd.

I will not believe that! most of the time, the customer service reps don't know what they are talking about.

Wait for the hard copy of the transfer. The letter will tell you what service center your application went to

I wouldn't believe a tier 1 telling me that...wait for your hard copy in mail or try calling and speaking with a tier 2. Cases are being transferred to service centers...Nebraska, California, Texas..have heard some say Vermont but unsure about that. Tier 1 is misinformation line...not to be trusted. Agent probably didn't drink coffee yet....

What the hell! Why was there a bunch of I-130 petitions from November and December approved yesterday in Texas and Nebraska. The time waiting wouldn't even bother me if the applications were processed in the order they were received.

??!?!?!!! There are people waiting for 10-11 months still waiting for an approval..and they are approving people that have only waited for 2 months?!something is really wrong here..
