we have to make sure that every thing good before my wife sent to them what they asking for RFE....i sent to my wife every thing with DHL service and then she will sent a ton of proof and i know we will got our approval ...and soon i will be at NVC stage guys so positive all the times

I can't believe you are still waiting my friend.

I wish you will get approval As soon as possible and join us at NVC stage.

I hope it does!! They got your case in 5 days.. it took mine over 2 wks to get there..

hello all!

my I-130 was approved on 4/16, and sent to NVC. NVC still doesnt have it.. how long does it take for them to get it??

the rep on the phone said 4-6 wks just to get it.. and i see that it takes about 30 days to get a case #..

Does that sound about right??

Although they say 4-6 weeks, they will acknowledge receiving your file in 10 to 15 days. So keep calling. Then from the date they have 'officially' received your case file, it will be another 30 days (about) to get the Case # and IIN. So call at least once a week.

I just called NVC and they received my file on mAy 1st !!!!! Yeah!!! It was sent on April 23 rd. !!! So hopefully we can get our case # in 2 weeks :-) !!!
