Hey guys, Im trying to figure out which service center I got transfered to, since I haven't received an approval or RFE yet. I'm trying to call the main USCIS offices, but I can't get out of the automated menu.

How were ya'll able to figure out which center you were transferred to? By calling? How did you get through to a real person?

Thanks!

That seems strange... are you sure your transfer didn't go the other direction (ie from NBC to CSC)? The NBC approval on the sheet is someone who never got transferred, and initially all our petitions went to NBC (either at Lees Summit MO or Overland Park KS).

Take another look at your 797C NOA 1 and your transfer paperwork. I'd be very surprised if you got transferred out of CSC. I mean, I suppose anything is possible, but it seems weird to me.

it is strange..

i filed i-129f & i-130, i got a notice in November that they transferred my i-129f to csc from csc??? i called the 800# and they could not explain it. then Feb 10 i get a notice that they transferred both my cases to Missouri, then i get a letter saying both my cases have been transferred to local offices and are now pending..

so, the address at the bottom of the letter is where it is or where it is going??

Did you not receive a hard-copy in the mail for your transfer notice? This is how most of us found out the location of our transfer.

If you didn't get this, the other way to find out is to call the USCIS @ 1-800-375-5283 and ask to speak to tier-2, they can tell you where your case was transferred to. Don't listen to what the initial rep says, they have absolutely no idea about anything!

Edited by waiting_______

And nothing since that time ...

I just got an e-mail:

On March 18, 2014, your address was changed relating to the I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

I definitely didn't change my address or anything of the sort. Anyone have any precedent for this?

PD 8/29/13, Xfer to CSC on 2/24/14.

Thanks.

I hope so. What little evidence I can find for the "address change" e-mail seems to indicate than an RFE is coming. :-(
