We are still waiting for approval (TSC) cray5ol.gif
It's been one month since the transferred ranting33va.gif

We are too. I was transferred on 02/26/2014. I think it is more nerve racking waiting from transfer to approval. Good luck to you both.

I was transferred on Jan 22 to CSC and finally we spoke with Tier 2 on Friday March 14 for an update. He was very rude and mentioned current processing time is ONE YEAR? we further insisted for the cause of delay and he mentioned that its because of security background checks.

Does anyone know how long does background check takes? Its almost 2 months and reading stories of other people really scares me as some have waited for 15 - 19 months too. :(

How many VJ friends are on the same boat?

I was looking at the August sheet and noticed only 1 other person has had there case sent to National Benefits Center.. Seems like their workload should be low, my case was transferred from the CSC, now i see a lot of approvals coming from them.. I am becoming a basket case.. does anyone know how quickly the National Benefits Center is working?

I'm trying to stay positive!

That seems strange... are you sure your transfer didn't go the other direction (ie from NBC to CSC)? The NBC approval on the sheet is someone who never got transferred, and initially all our petitions went to NBC (either at Lees Summit MO or Overland Park KS).

Take another look at your 797C NOA 1 and your transfer paperwork. I'd be very surprised if you got transferred out of CSC. I mean, I suppose anything is possible, but it seems weird to me.

Is your timeline updated?

Hey guys fb is the new vj hahahah hope everyone had a good weekend and hope that these people are working on our bahalf .......... the 20th will make a month of a transfer

How do I find it to add? I'm late I know haha

Posted (edited)

Hey guys, our noa-1 was August 6, transferred February 6th to CSC. We also filed a 129F in January which was transferred on Feb. 12th to CSC. We then changed our address on both applications. It seems like we have been put in the "forgotten" pile and are going to have to wait a while for approval. IF they're processing from June now ("forgotten" piles like ours) then we're looking at another 2 months worst case scenario right? Is it worth submitting expedite request? Pulling I129F? I've called USCIS tier 2 twice and they just keep saying we're within normal processing time but that our I129F could actually get adjucated before our I130 and that I130 is taking 13 months from NOA1. I know they just say very general, vague stuff but do you guys think there's anything else we can do? What is "normal processing time"? For CSC they're showing 7.1 months on USCIS website but it's now longer than that for us. I guess averaging out all the other lucky August applicants who got approved :(

42 days at CSC that's something unusual.

Did you call Uscis and talk with tier 2 ?

Might be you got RFE and they sent to old address.

don't withdraw your 129f but you can call expedite your 129f..

don't ask question to tier 2 but instead of asking question tell them that you want to create service request.

Make info pass appointment also..

Deep, I spoke with tier 2 and they're basically just telling me to keep waiting. What would I put as reason for infopass? Too long of processing time or what? Did you do infopass appointment, was it helpful at all?

Reason for info pass would be about your 129f..

processing time for 129f is 5 months.

I did not get transferred with other August fillers. and I also filed 129f on Nov..

So I made a infopass and next day I got Approval for I-130.

They closed my 129f at uscis.
