Hi All,

RFE question for you all.

I submitted our church marriage certificate instead of our Canadian province marriage certificate. So we got an RFE. I turned it around the same day and sent it back (Friday). We got notice last night that CSC received our RFE response and that we would have notification within 60 days of their decision.

What kind of turn around should we expect? I know some people were getting approvals in 10 days or so, and I know this probably pushed us back some, just wondering if anyone has any input on this! Thank you very much!

Don't jump for joy about speaking to the NVC, I actually think the NVC are ruder than USCIS, this guy I am speaking to now has zero idea and is very very rude…...

So it seems I do NOT get any sort of letter from the NVC with my details on (like the USCIS I-797C) is this really correct????

Also, to get my Hong Kong police certificate (as I need the "letter") it seems I have to send my stuff to the NVC (DS260), wait for them to review it, send me back a letter stating i need a police check, then get this from HK (which takes 4 weeks), then they will case complete… adding 6-8 weeks to my processing time…..

My NOA1 date is 08.06.2013, I was transfered to CSC in 02.03.2014 and I have no sign from them until now. I really love this random lottery system that they have for working on our files.

Please add me on the google spreadsheet.

RANDOM LOTTERY SYSTEM IT IS... because I saw a post in the Sept. 2013 i130 filer section, their PD was 9/3/13 and they got transferred on 2/24/14. My priority date is Aug.30th, 2013 and I got transferred on 2/25/14. I know I know their priority date is only 2 business days apart from mines but there's no system that these transfers and approvals are done in. The bright side is judging by the transfers and approval rate by the CSC, i guess its better than the 9.1 months at NBC...

We're in the same boat. Same PD and transfer dates.

Our priority date is Aug. 30, 2013. On Feb. 25th we were transerred to California Service Center. Does anybody know how fast they approving petitions after the transfer date?. Ive seen a couple of people here get approved within 2 weeks of getting transferred. And if anybody has the same priority date or around the same date as mine let me know.... Good luck !

Hi, I am new to this forum and just as everyone else here I'm an August filer.

If you can please add me to your spreadsheet. My PD August 30th, got transferred on Feb 25 to CSC.

Hey guys,

I hope everyone will get approved soon!

I have a question relating to my approved I-129F... On the hard copy where it says "notice type" there is a following note: "valid from 02/26/14 to 06/25/14". What does it mean?

My I-130 was approved at the same time, so I assume I can forget about I-129F, but still I am clueless what this validity period is...

Thanks for any tips!

I don't know. Wouldn't it be cool if it meant they won't cancel it until either June 25 or when your I-130 actually gets through NVC. Like they were actually giving you a choice which way you want to go...

I doubt it, but it would sure make me feel like they were actually admitting that the process is just taking too long!
