Right now CSC is showing a trend of transferring files to NVC within 10 business days.

My advice, check out saylin's NVC spreadsheet. Note which August filers got approved a few days before you and keep an eye on them. Once you see that their files are received by NVC, start calling to find out about yours.

Also look at NVC Feb filers thread.. read the first 2 posts at least 5 times. .look at all the links.. saylin has a list of all required docs for AOS and IV packages!

Welcome to the NVC wait downer after the NOA2 high!!!!

Got approved today! :-)

Transfered on Feb 18th.

I got my first of three emails regarding my transfer on the 18th too-- got my fingers, toes, legs, crossed hoping to be following the trends.... common NVC!!

Just like everyone else - nervous that I may be asked for additional evidence or for some UNKNOWN reason postponed...

My petition is for my wife AND stepdaughter -- so I am hoping that does not throw a wrench in a timely transfer--- my evidence of marriage is VERY strong being we lived together and have had a daughter together who was reported to the consular as a US Citizen born abroad...

general feeling this process is waaaaaaaayyy to long for everyone... BUT hopeful we are in the home stretch now..

Good luck to ALL..

OK folks.....just so you have an idea of how fast some of the petitions are moving, this is what has happen for me this month:

Feb 5th - Transferred to CSC

Feb 11th - Petition Approved

Feb 20th - NVC received my case file

Called NVC today and spoke to Todd. He said to call again 20-30 days from receipt for IIN

I have been reading and reading and reading post and flow charts regarding forms and evidence to send to NVC. Trying to get everything ready but there are just some things that still are confusing to me. Everyone else seems to have a good grip on what to expect and to do......starting to feel like an idiot !!!

Hey, how long did it take for your case to be received at the NVC? Was it shipped from CSC?

yup it was shipped from CSC

NOA2 on the 12th and then I called NVC and they received it on the 21st! They said give them 20-30 business days to get it in the system with a case number but at least i know its there!
