don't have a subscription to NYTIMES but wanting to see the article and or write the journalist who is covering this subject- do you have MORE info for those without a TIMES subscription?

Hmmm... I don't have a subscription either. I looked it up online and had no trouble accessing it. I couldn't contact the author from my phone browser, only on my computer. I don't know why you're being asked for a subscription. But check out that VJ thread. People have been posting other news media talking about it. You may be able to check other news article :)

I got this update on my Case Status more than 12 days ago but no further update since then. Can anyone translate this information for me please? I'm not sure what ARN # is used for? does anyone else have same update?

On January 28, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

From what I've seen, people who have their Alien Registration Number changed are approved soon after. But don't take my word for it. Can anyone else confirm that?

Did you request an expedite or were you DCF, just out of curiosity? Or was everything normal?

looks like there's an increasing number of filers being sent to TSC... any hypotheses?

I guess not all can go to TSC, plus they seem to be also quite far along and we have seen some quick approvals from TSC recently however at least it's not NSC!!

Any transfers yet?

More transfers tonight, hopefully. Also, I think only handful of July folks were transferred to NSC. So once NSC processes remaining April-Jun backlog, they will be up to the speed with CSC & TSC.
