Hello Everyone,

Quick questions for the I-134 evidence of support required by the London Embassy.

Is a statement from an officer at my bank required if I have (1) 2012 tax transcript (2) stock portfolio value allocation (3) evidence of the value of my home (4) letter of employment verification with my annual income noted (4) a months worth of pay stubs?

Thank you in advance,

Lisa

Nope. London will approve an I-134 on as little as a work letter and paystubs.

Sounds like you already have plenty of information to show your money situation.

Are you using a combination of salary and assets to reach the guideline amount?

I ask because if you're making enough in salary alone, you only need that 2012 tax return or the work letter/pay stubs, anyway.

:)

They will probably hand 80% of that back to you as more than they need. So no more worries on the I-134 for you.

Thanks both for the quick responses! Happy to hear I have what I am required to show and more.

Lost-at-Sea: My annual income is enough to meet the support requirement so it sounds like I was a bit overzealous in providing evidence of support. It's in my nature sadly to be so.

Thanks again!

I did the same thing back when because I believed everything I read in the K1 forums. The documentation that the interviewer saw was about 2% of my money because the Angry Asian Lady pushed it all back under the glass and kept two things for the file. I don't even know if the interviewer looked at it because he never mentioned the I-134. Lesson learned, for AOS I skipped all assets on the form I-864 and left that section blank.

*Angry Asian Lady= a clerk who still works there collecting and organizing your documents prior to going back for the interview. She sometimes looks grumpy. :(
