I-130 approved

I'm now confused because my I-130 petition is now approved at the USCIS. I just got my K3 visa last Wednesday and i'm moving to US this coming Wednesday. Which is better, Adjustment of Status or comeback to Canada for the I-130 interview? Also, can i change my Canadian address to my US address so any correspondence from the Consulate will go to my US address if I decide to go on the I-130? Please enlighten me....

Well, there is a slight risk that if you go back to Canada for the interview, and you are not approved, you cant go back to the US. That, and the additional travel, are the only drawbacks.

Now that your I-130 is approved it is a simple process to change your address. You only have to change it with the NVC who are infinitely more efficient than the service centers.

I've often wondered about that: K-3 and then AOS or go back to do the interview for the CR-1. I've read that some people plan on coming back to their country of origin to do the CR-1 visa. And I would do that, too, if my K-3 finishes before the CR-1. But my husband also read somewhere that when you get the K-3 visa, you're I-130 is dropped and you have to do the Adjustment of Status. So, I'm confused about that.

Has anyone in this forum gone to the US with a K-3 and then came back to Canada for the CR-1 interview. (oops, that's supposed to be a question mark at the end. My niece's computer is in a strange mode).
