So I am applying for AOS based on immediate family( Spouse of USC).

I got my Biometric interview letter, but it doesnt say anything about the biometrics for the sponsoring US Citizen spouse. So my question is "is the biometrics only for the intending immigrant or does both the intending immigrant and the sponsoring spouse need to attend the biometrics appointment

Day 0 -7/22/2013- Sent AOS package via Fedex

Day 1 -7/23/2013. Package Delivered

Day 7- 7/29/2013- E confirmation received via email

Day 7 - 7/29/2013- Cheks Cashed

Day 10 8/1/2013- NOA Hard copies received

Day 18 8/9/2013- Got Biometric letter (appt date 8/23/2013)

Day 23 8/14/2013- RFE on I-864

Day 36 8/27/2013- RFE documents Sent

Day 37 8/28/2013 Successful Biometrics

Day 44 9/3/2013 USCIS receives the RFE and status changed to RFE review

Day 56 9/17/2013 I485 Online status changed to Testing and Interview

Day 66 9/27/2013 I485 Online status states Inteview date as 10/31/2013

Day 66 9/27/2013 EAD status changed to Card/Document Production

Day 70 10/2/2013 Received EAD/AP Combo Card

Day 101 10/31/2013 AOS Interview

Day 132 12/2/2013 Received Green Card

08/25/2013 - Package delivered
08/29/2013 - Email/text notifications received

08/30/2013 - Checks Cleared
09/03/2013 - NOA hard copies received

09/09/2013 - Received Biometrics Appointment for 9/25
09/13/2013 - Text/Email for RFE (I-864 & I-94)

09/16/2013 - Completed Biometricks (Walk In)

(Long gap in sending RFE back because I had to complete I-94 application and tried to wait for decision but ended up submitting RFE for I-864 with I-94 NOA)

11/29/2013 - RFE response sent

12/30/2014 - EAD received

01/06/2014 - I-94 Approved!!!!!
02/06/2014 - Interview (had to go back to civil surgeon to re-do paperwork and make sure this time he signs it. Took care of it that very same day and dropped it off at the USCIS office the following morning.
02/14/2014 - Green card received!!!

Like everyone else answered its only for the beneficiary - in this case you. Only time your USC spouse will need to put in an appearance is during your marriage interview. Good luck!

Cheque is the correct spelling.

Yeah, if you live in England. In Unites States of America, it's spelled (not "spelt") as "Check".

PS: My earlier comment was a joke. I'm aware the OP is from India, and is educated in British English.
