yes my husband asked about that.They said becuase of their system, some of members here they said its normal especially if its start with MSC(NBC)how long that your case is cannot be found? our is from our Noa1 until now tno update..

Hi..We are an april filer and also we had no response from NBC. I was curious what do you mean your case cannot be found? Are you saying that when you type your MSC on check status at USCIS, there is no info on it? Ours is still on initial review for 4 months and 3 days now.

hi..it is just an RFE..we also send one before and they need one more..yeah, i guess affidavit is too early for this time..Most people said it is 6-9 months, but still im hoping less than that

If you are referring Affidavit as an Affidavit of support, then you can not have it yet, not until your petition is approved and you will receive NOA2...Then it takes time before it reaches to NVC

However we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer proccessing time.If you do not have recieve a decision or other notice of action from us within six months..what does it mean?we will wait for another six months?who among here recieved same letter like this?ty

Well, the AOS you are talking about is still a long way until you get approved..And besides, its for your husband to fill in, not the beneficiary...

While waiting for the approval, you can read some guides here to get yourself acquainted with the whole process, so that when approval comes, you have idea what to do next..

We waited 17 long months before we received an RFE...then 2 weeks after we sent the RFE reply, we got approved.

My husband did couple times since only petitioner are allowed to call USCIS..We also had an Infopass, wrote a letter to Senator, Congressman, Ombudsman..still the answer we got was, it is still on "Initial review" and to wait for 30days to 6 months before we can call them again..

Yup we already know the whole process..My sister left early this year with the same CR1 visa as well.So we were brief accordingly.
