USCIS Status: Post Decision Activity

Hello Everyone!

I need help regarding the status of the petition my US Citizen Mom filed for my sister (unmarried/over 21y/o).

I'm quite puzzled with the USCIS website as the last time we had it checked, it shows the timeframe. Now, it has been updated and it doesn't show any further info. What's next?

On November 9, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

The date showing there is the approval date. What is her priority date? NVC will contact the petitioner maybe a year prior to her PD becoming current.

As of the August 2013 Visa Bulletin, current priority date for F1 Philippines is JANUARY 1, 2001.

there won't be any new information. the approved i130 was sent to the NVC or National visa center and filed until there is a visa available with her priority date.

check the visa bulletin every month, she has years of waiting.
