Pretty simple, click on your profile name in the upper right-hand corner of the forum page, click on my timeline, click on edit/add my entry, click on edit timeline, edit, click on submit changes (at the bottom of screen) to save upon exiting.

Congrats !!

i guess this question is directed to the site foreman or administration staff. Thanks in advance!

Clint & Hong

Thanks for adding the details. Great job. If you get time, would love for you to update it even more. Like how long did the process take from check in to walking out. What were the steps, go here give someone these forms, one at a time, all at once? Wait here and do this, etc. Also where are you sending your visa to? Home address or pickup? Lets us know when you get the visa so we can see how CGI is doing on the back end.

Thanks in advance!

Hi HTH. I did as you suggest, but there's no place for me to edit the "Embassy Review" entry I made. In fact, the review itself does not even appear on the "Timeline Entry Page". just appears on my timeline when I'm not in edit mode. I'm at a loss.

Also, how do I create a new topic under the China portal? The only place I can find to create a new topic is on the general forums page.

Thank again!

Hi Fred,

Yeah, just as soon as I'm able to modify our embassy review, I'll add those details and more. In the meantime, it's been 5 days, and the status of her passport still says "Your passport is still with post.", which means the embassy has not done anything with it yet. Here's the meanings of the different statuses and information about how to determine the status and what's needed to pick up the passport...

Email: Send an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com and in the subject and/or body enter a valid passport number exactly as it was entered at the time the appointment was scheduled, and you will receive an automatic response with the status.
Your passport is still with post - passport is still at the Consulate itself
Your passport is In Transit To Post - VFS/USTraveldocs is yet to deliver your passport to the Consulate. It is inbetween the USTraveldocs location and Consulate
Your passport is Delivered To Post - VFS/USTraveldocs has delivered your passport to the Consulate
Origination Scan - US Consulate has filled in your Courier slip but is awaiting Courier Company to pick it / Courier Company is in the process of issuing an AWB/Reference code
Your passport is In Transit From Post - The passport with or without the visa is now being transported by courier to the pick up location that you specified at the time of creating the appointment. Please check the location of pickup on your US Consulate appointment invitation letter
Your passport is Ready For Pickup - It has arrived at the Pickup location
Required Documents for Passport Retrieval
To collect your passport you must present your original (not a photocopy) government-issued photo ID. We recommend you also bring a printed copy of your appointment letter.

Thanks for adding the details. Great job. If you get time, would love for you to update it even more. Like how long did the process take from check in to walking out. Oic, okay.

How about going to the Reviews/USCIS & POE button at the top of the forum page? Hit that button, about halfway down the page on the left-hand side there should be a line: Edit Previous Consulate Review on <Date>, hit that line and you should be able to edit your review.

If you post a new topic in the Chinese Regional forum, it should flow to the China portal.

See if that works for you.

Suggest that you post your list of meanings in the China Regional Forum, for reference.

BTW: HTH = Hope that helps biggrin.png

Good luck.

Great info, I am assuming that these steps do not apply for a K1 since your passport is already at post.
Your passport is In Transit To Post - VFS/USTraveldocs is yet to deliver your passport to the Consulate. It is inbetween the USTraveldocs location and Consulate
Your passport is Delivered To Post - VFS/USTraveldocs has delivered your passport to the Consulate
Would you agree?

rawlsca - hey ! come back on a PC , go through the instructions on post #2, again.

The problem you've described smacks of handphone or pad usage.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Yes! Your instructions worked! Thanks! I wonder why it doesn't give you the option to edit the review from the timeline edit screen? (Rhetorical question)

Thanks for your contribution, but the OP hasn't logged on to VJ since July 2014, and he posted that his issue was resolved.
