Now I likes Chinese food, who doesn't? That and a Ukrainian wife are two of 4 components of "heaven".

So a local Chinese joint offers free delivery within 10 miles of their awesome food. And it IS awesome. No hunting for the shrimp in the "shrimp with cashews" from the "Chopstick House"

so anyway, a poor, deprived woman who lives more than 10 miles away calls the place and orders food to be delivered to her friend's house, well within the 10 mile radius. They take the order and the woman drives to her friend's house and waits in the driveway.

The delivery guy comes and looks suspiciously at the woman. "You live here?" "No, it is my friend's house, but I live outside 10 miles from you" "So sorry, I cannot deliver food, you do not live here" WHAT!!!!!????? "Yes, this is not your house, I cannot deliver food here" BUT, I have the money... "So sorry" And the guy gets back in hs car, WITH the food and leaves!

I heard that on the local radio a while back.......TOO FUNNY!

The "Chinese Food Nazi"

What do they call that in comedy when the guy spits his drink all over everything? I almost had one of those. I was driving and drinking a soda when I heard that and was trying not to spew all over my windshield!

What I wondered is if the woman ever outwitted the crafty Chinese Food Nazi. I was thinking..."next time wait INSIDE your friend's house and answer the door" But imagine the CFN then recognizes the car...or the woman and STILL refuses to sell the food!

Next episode the FRIEND answers the door but the CFN sees the woman's car in the driveway...then the woman parks 3 blocks away and waits for a text message that the food has arrived but now the CFN has simply grown tired or the deception and refuses to deliver th=o that address!

Heck, it could be a recurring theme for a whole SEASON of Seinfeld!

But seriously, someone else called in that same day and said that they had offered to meet the delivery guy at the "park n' ride" parking lot, well within the 10 mile radius and the restaraunt refused to deliver to them also! "Because they do not live at the park n ride" It was determined that the owner seems dead set against anyone more than 10 miles away eating his food!

It began when the local newspaper's food editor did her weekly report and was raving about the good food at this Chinese place (it really is good, I will vouch for that) and the callers responded. The food editor and show host were shocked but it turned into t true comedy skit.

Oh, is ok. I never arrange for Chinese Food delivery. Most 'Chinese Food' Joints have their recipes skewed for the Caucasian American Palette. I don't go to those places, or arrange for take out from those places.

The Real Chinese Joints rarely deliver, but I have been known (rarely) to get something to go. How to know yer in a Real Chinese Joint? Ain't no menus in English...

But I digress. Mostly, I cook chinese food at home, because I know how, taught by my wife's brothers over a longish week of foodie bacchanalia. Once a quarter, at minimum, I invite my krewe of Chinese Aunties over, we make about 600 venison jiaozi in my outdoor cooking gear, and give most to a men's homeless shelter.

as to 'why to tell me'? Beats me, O Gary - I've no penchant for American Chinese Food or other ppls Hot Ukrainian Womyns... Chinese Food is part of Chinese Culture. I've been acculturated, years back.

So you are saying that Chinese food may not really be part of Heaven like hot Ukrainian women? I wonder, if mayhaps, I actually have a Ukrainian woman that has been skewed for the American palate and that Heaven could actually mean British food and American wives?

Y'know...see, I have this twisted way of considering things, I admit. But I think to myself..

"OK, I will use my cell phone camera to take a photo of my ####### and then I will send that photo to anyone on the internet but first I will create a fake name so no one knows who I am...but then I will tell them who I am...and I am a US congressman...and I want to be Mayor of New York"
