Switzerland has chosen not to remain neutral in the matter of Oprah Winfrey's racially charged encounter with a sales clerk in Zurich.

The nation's tourism office has issued an apology to the media mogul after she revealed that she was discriminated against during a shopping trip in the city.

The store denies it. The country is apologizng for doing nothing wrong, "Switzerland" didn't do anything.. Please tell me you are not somehow appeased with an insincere apology designed to maximize profits from tourists.

I am guessing they are not going to show me a $38,000 handbag either. Compared to most people in Europe, the avaerage American comes off looking like a homeless person. Alla says she thinks Americans are in a contest to see "who can look most horrible"

The shop lady was a bigot. Often sales assistants in expensive stores are over the top snobs, despite or maybe because of their low salaries. Check out the chicks who work for expensive art galleries in NY and London.

I got a nephew that is some kind of event/social something another in NYC. He has met LL several times. Says she is like some child raised by wolves. Totally without any social skills. Says she grunts at people. Real POS.
