Yeah, I've read more than a few got transfered in the last few days. I did some research about being transfered, and it is as I suspected. They transfer to another processing center because they are backed up at the original one. Another poster said "We received the same message this morning. I called the USCIS and was told that this means that our service center (VCS) is backed up and have therefore sent our cases to another office for faster processing. I asked if this meant that there were a problem with the petition and she said no. If there were a problem we would have received earlier notification. She said to look at this as a good thing because they are working to make a decision quicker. One we receive our written notification in the mail it will tell us if there is anything we need to do and more than likely which office it was sent to. We received our NOA1 on December 11, 2012."

Got the original NOA2 dated July 25, 2013, then on August 14, 2013 received this status email update:

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On August 14, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

Does this mean they didn't mail it to NVC until nearly 3 weeks after the NOA2 date, on August 14, 2013? If so, I guess that means I need to wait another 7-10 business days to call NVC, right?

Lol, i swear they are working last in first out. I looked at the approvals and it seems all the July 24th NOA2 are still waiting to be transferred, while everything after that is being transferred. I give up. However, congrats loran

Thank you! I don't understand their system either, but I hope everyone gets their file transfer as well, though I know it should take like a week for NVC to receive this now. That notice made my day today goofy.gif

Thanks, I'm getting a headache now!!! Just called uscis and the rep telling me ####### about depending on case and different situation, I just demanded to be transfered because I did not want to hear more of the same script so now I'm waiting to be called back.

They never called me back when I called. They sent me an e-mail like 20 days after telling me where my file was. :/
