Hello to all and thank you in advance to any who reply. I have just returned from a visit to my Fiancee in the Russian Federation (Siberia). She collected a lot of boarding passes and other direct evidence that she was in the US (and my city). I know that we are all waiting for our loved ones, and I'm not trying to get ahead of anyone else, I just want to avoid any possibble problems. I checked the regulations and I can't find anything that says you can't supplement without an RFE, I'm just using this wonderful resource to see if anyone has done this before. TIA.

While I cannot imagine why you would not be allowed to do this, it has been said that the chance of your supplement meeting up with your original file is possibly slim. People have submitted simple change of address forms that never "married up" to the file.

Why do you feel the information in your original submission is weak?

YMMV

I agree w/ fwaguy - wait until they send you an RFE before you send anything else. There's practically no way to guarantee that what you send in now will ever 'find' your original submission.

"Not recommended" may be too strong of words.... certainly has not proven to be beneficial....

'Not recommended' doesn't sound strong to me.....?

When the link you provide as basis for the "Not reccomended" is to another thread where in essence you essentially only quote your self .....

YMMV

Oh geez.

and not saying 'has not proven to be beneficial....' vs. 'not recommended' is semantics. WHO CARES!!!!!

I was linking to a recent discussion about it - you know, USING THE SEARCH FUNCTION on Vj.......to find realted topics, something no one does anymore....

I would suggest not doing so because you may not need it.

After I mailed out our I-129F I worried about receiving an RFE because my fiance did not sign his supplemental G-325A forms but DID sign the forms themselves.

However, we did not receive an RFE and our case was approved rather quickly for CSC.

It's always better to be safe than sorry when submitting the package but I would wait to hear back from USCIS before sending documents for what could be an RFE.

Good luck.
