it is nice that USCIS is sending a letter to potential interview waiver cases to let them know that it will take a while to process their case.

We applied September 2012 and didn't get any response at all for 10 1/2 months. My husband finally received his green card July 2013 without an interview. It would have been nice to know that our application had not been misplaced or lost. We had no idea if we were potentially an interview waiver case until it had been 7 or 8 months and we just assumed that was the case since it seemed like those who had applied at the same time as us and had interviews were long done with the process. At least they are giving you a head's up!

Yes Agrab , there are still quite a few Sep12 filters on stand by. Since I received this "nice letter" saying that they need more 6 months ( it was 5 of May ) I have not heard anything further.. Total silence ..

I filed in February, got my EAD/AP card in the beginning of April, but haven't heard anything about the GC yet. Also, no letter. So far, I am fine and the wait doen't bother me too much, but I know, soon I will be starting to get worried about not receiving the GC in time before the EAD card runs out. Does it make any sense to call them and ask about my case (I'd like to know why I didn't get one of those letters!)? Probably not, right? ;)

Two days ago (Aug 13, 2013) I sent an e-mail to our congressman

Uau... I do not receive any response from congressman, but....I just receive RFE from USCIS - San Fernando Field Office (CA). Actually the date on it is August 6, 2013. It was sent to our old address in SC, and that's why we receive it today.

They want to send them Medical examination (I-693) by a USCIS authorized civil surgeon, submitted in an envelope sealed by the civil surgeon; and Vaccinations supplement only.

I already sent a copy of Vaccination documentation worksheet, given to me at the end of the medical exam (10/05/2012) for nonimmigrant fiancée visa, with I-485 form. I don't know why they what this again.

I just called to the nearest authorized civil surgeon, and the assistant told me that the price for this service is $300. Is this a good price?

It is also mentioned in the letter, that I could mail documents with this letter or bring documents to Chatsworth Filed Office on the day of the Adjustment of Status Interview.

As I didn't receive letter for interview does this mean that eventually I could be approved without interview. What do you think???

You all are lucky . I filled mine since october 2012 recieved my ead, and has done the biometrics for the green card since november last year and yet not even such letter from them.I even went as far as my congressman to look into it and they told him i am among the so called interview waiver cases and 10 months now nothing.This is crazy

Last Friday we sent I-693 and Vaccination Supplement to USCIS and they received it this morning.....

.....and I just received a text message and an e-mail:

"Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On August 26, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. "
