any one had same experience response from senator

hello every one as my case is in AP from last 10 months in US embassy islamabad.we contacted to senator for help and got same response as usual copy and paste that your case is in AP and they are working,embassy will contact you upon completion.
But the status on the (https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/).website is still same stuck in march,any one had this experience.please share your opinions.

The same thing happened to me .

When I contacted my senator and asked how long should we wait to write the embassy again , they replied ..

" There is no need to write the embassy again , they will contact you when your visa is ready"

So then I asked - even if it takes 5 years, I should not write again to inquire ? The senator replied

" There is nothing you can do but wait , they are working on your case"

Grace & Irfan...agree with you.actually no one is there or here to help us,we started contacting from white house,embassy and at last senator but no help from no where,every one have standard answer copy and paste.the thing is making me worried that when ever you contact embassy or senator inquire on your behalf your status date changes but in my case i have contacted every one but still date is stuck in march.in my personal opinion whenever you contact them that your case is in AP help us with this they dont bother to contact embassy they just give the standard copy and paste reply.

Once when I called the Department of State for a status update the lady on the phone was rude to me and made a comment about the fact that I had involved my congressman. I was asking why it was taking the embassy so long to return my fiance's passport . He needed it for travel and the embassy would not return it even after 10 email and 7 weeks of asking. The lady from the department of state said

" Why are you even calling me , I dont have the passport ?"

I said because the embassy keeps hanging the phone up on me saying they dont accept calls, and I have sent over ten emails. We need his passport sent back immediately.

She said " I see here that you had your congressman call on your behalf last week, if its such a big deal why don't you have your congressman ask for the passport ? I cant help you."

exactly that the point is,when ever we call DOS they have same answer if we ask them for detail they said they are not allowed to tell anything.than who do we need to contact.operator sitting in DOS tele line are really rude aand abusive,they must know that we are been punished by the embassy for nothing,they have to be patient with us and give us some moral support but.......now one thing i dont understand whenever we call DOS or email embassy they have answer that we are working on your case,if they are working than why dont we see the progress.in my situation my case was last updated in march but on monday when we called DOS that whats going on they replied they are working on your case and they are not sleeping and they have your file in front,if they have than why iam stuck in march that is the month last they worked on my case.G od knows whats going on?and who is responsible.see even after waiting years and years in AP we are not sure about our future that what will be the outcome of AP?i guess they are just wasting the time of every one that they fed up and withdraw the case.why they only target selected applicants why this AP is not for every one than,its unfair and totally unfair but there is no justice,.

Virgo2012. Is your application male or female? Is s/he from Karachi? When was your interview? Was you told that you are going into AP or they told you to pick ur passport n visa in 7-10 days?

JBoss...iam male from karachi and my wife is petitioner.september 2012.we attaineded interview togather and CO at the end of interview said that your case is going to AP but you will get your visa 3 to 6 months max,than my wife said to CO its too long,than gora CO said dont worry INSHALLAH you will get visa before 6 months but still iam stuck in dark hole.
