Congrats !!! Glad to hear it. It's been a long journey thus far. Please send us a message when she is with you on US soil and for me the chapter of us August 2012 CSC filers will be closed. May the wind be at your back from this point on.

Thanks!

Now as long as there isn't a typhoon, I think they will make it here. The only way a US government employe can screw us now would be at the POE.

I'm in AP since 31st of July 2013

You guys just talk about days and mine is 6 months

I just don't want to keep emailing them as everyone here believes it's of no use but reading this thread I think calling and emailing basically does help

This is so frustrating and kinda disrespectful to keep people waiting for a 3 months visa

I am waiting on mine over a month ...how do I check the status on the ceacwebsite. I tried a couple times and nothing I cannot access the status.

You may want to visit the website that is regional to your application. For Jamaica see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/153-caribbean/

For the CEAC website visit here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

If you are having problems accessing your information you may want to try a different web browser. I was trying to access CEAC using IE and it would never allow me in but when I switched to Chrome I was able to access CEAC with no problems.

hi :). i was given a 221g after my interview last april 4 2014 asking for my fiancee's current sustained income. i did sent it 2 days after. i know it's too early for me to ask on when can i have my passport in hand. it's just that i really don't know if i got denied or approved. i really don't mind to wait for my passport but all i wanna know is if i was approved or not. does anybody here who has the same experience as mine? i just wanna be relieved, it's really stressing me out :(

You sent a copy of his most recent tax return, W-2 and I-134 through 2GO? If you fiance's income at least meets the poverty guidelines of the I-864P for number of people he will be supporting then all should be good. The rest will be the usual waiting... and waiting... and waiting ;)

You can track progress on the CEAC website. Info in my link below

i already received the email about our case hank and it says that i can be a public charge. it's just confusing because my fiancee's annual income is around 28,000 dollars. isn't that enough?

and my passport is still at the embassy. how long do you think before i can have it back?

If you are the only dependent, that is fine. How many dependents does he have? And if it is only you, is it possible his income document is not in acceptable form so they rejected it? I heard for example that a 1040 with no W-2 is no good since he can get a blank form and fill in his own numbers.

AI422, i'm bringing my daughter with me. during my interview, they were looking for my fiancee's latest 1040 since the one i have is 2011. they gave me a 221g form after the interview and it says "current sustained income". so after two days, i sent them his 2013 1040, his 2013 w-2, though i already have that on my interview already, i still sent them another one and his pay stubs for the last three months..

Does he have any children?

Here is a link to the guidelines, look at the 125% column

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf

For 3 (your fiance, you and your daughter) the income needed is $24,737, if he has any dependents the requirement is higher.

On last thought, does he have a family member that would be a co-sponsor?

Then i guess his annual income is fine. He don't have any dependents, he is single and living alone. Yeah i guess his sisters can be a co sponsor. But is it ok if we'll make my aunt to be our co-sponsor? And will there be any chance since it's already refused?

Thank you for spending time hank_.
